NAMASTE! ~ Those of you who know me on the forums will probably remember my annual Spring time love posting threads So, it's Spring, let's try and love each other! Sorry if this is lame lol. Compassion perpetuates peace understanding, Summer will come anyway but it's nice to welcome it properly. "If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion." - H.H. Dalai Lama "Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace." - Shakyamuni Buddha "A wonderful fact to reflect upon, that every human creature is constituted to be that profound secret and mystery to every other." - Charles Dickens Say whatever you'd like in this thread, just want to spread understanding *OM MANI PADME HUM* *OM SHANTI SHANTI SHANTI*
Ohhh how I love you John A new quote I have stumbled upon that I have been thinking about during evening reflection is: “People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.” Thich Nhat Hahn Are you going to see His Holiness at all on his U.S. tour?
I love you too!!! And I love Thich Nhat Hahn! I've only read one of his books but I want to read more! This quote reminds me of one from Parahamansa Yogananda : "Nothing may be truly said to be a miracle, except in the profound sense that everything is a miracle." I would love to see H.H. I didn't even know he was doing another tour already! Keep living in love my dear friend! And spreading the compassion around. *Bows* the mist rises! Here's a poem by Lewis Carroll; A boat, beneath a sunny sky Lingering onward dreamily In an evening of July -- Children three that nestle near, Eager eye and willing ear Pleased a simple tale to hear -- Long has paled that sunny sky: Echoes fade and memories die: Autumn frosts have slain July. Still she haunts me, phantomwise Alice moving under skies Never seen by waking eyes. Children yet, the tale to hear, Eager eye and willing ear, Lovingly shall nestle near. In a Wonderland they lie, Dreaming as the days go by, Dreaming as the summers die: Ever drifting down the stream -- Lingering in the golden gleam -- Life what is it but a dream?
Synthia Sylvia Stout Would Not Take The Garbage Out ^^ I liked those quotes though, very motivational?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9belGk69gUo <- That one is for you John (well, for all of us) In his jests serious, in his murders victim, or which, is God? Who began before non-existence's dependence on existence, Who came before the chicken and the egg Who started out enormous Light the dark brilliance of the Mystery for all good hearts to shroud inside and keep their understanding sympathy intact as Beethoven's courageous slow sigh. In his atrocities victim? In his jests damned? In his damnation damnation? Or is God just the golden hover light manifesting Mayakaya the illusion of the moon, branches across the face of the moon? O perturbing swttlontaggek montiana godio Thou high suffermaker! Tell me now, in Your Poem!

Happy threads!! I love Spring, it's my favorite And fuzzacidflowers I love your signature picture a little too much.
Dawn of light lying between a silence and sold sources, Chased amid fusions of wonder, in moments hardly seen forgotten, Coloured in pastures of chance dancing leaves cast spells of challenge, Amused but real in thought, we fled from the sea whole. Dawn of thought transfered through moments of days under seaarching earth Revelaing corridors of time provoking memories, disjointed but with purpose, Craving penetrations offer links with the self instructors sharp And tender love as we took to the air, a picture of distance. Dawn of our power we amuse redescending as fast as misused Expression, as only to teach love as to reveal passion chasing Late into corners, and we danced from the ocean. Dawn of love sent within us colours of awakening among the many Wont to follow, only tunes of a different age. As the links span our endless caresses for the freedom of life everlasting.
lol fuck no, you think I could write a poem this good? It's all Kerouac. The late, great, Master Kerouac. BTW, Brandenburg Concerto #3 is one of my favorite Bach songs, but the way that guy laid it out on the synths just completely blew my mind. Bach + synths =
