Alright, I made a speaker box into my growing area. I have 3 lights. 2 43w cfls and 1 26w daylight cfl. I have another of the 26w but dont have a way to install it. box is painted flatt white and I have a intake van drilled into the back of it. a bigg computer van. that was ment for cooling and is hard wired already. Soil and nutes are plain dirt untill need transplant. then they going into schults soil, but im going to mix it with half plain soil and the other soil so the nutes from the are as strong. If They show signs from over nutes ill just flush it out good and throw and wait a few days to add some nutes to the water. I have 6 started about a week ago on the 18th. They look awesome. here are some pics. I plain to end up with about 3-4. but they are just bag seed.

I'm trying to learn some about growing, and from what I have read, wont those get too close to the lights and get burned?

Hats off always brave putting your first grow in a journal.
Been checkin lights with me new light meter and based on a 20 watt 2400k and 6700k you gotta get to within 4 inches for cfl to start gettin to the over powering state.

There coming along for a month old i think but looks a bit over watered to me or heavy soil with them down turned leafs. You got drainage holes in them tubs your growing in? Must be thinking about feeding soon coz looking bit hungry too.

New pictures. the soil may of been over watered. I did have problems and had to flush 2twice to fix the PH. yes it is a new cab. found a shelf unit in my basement. made a door and found some blue insulaton foam board for the back. Just watered today 300ml of water and ferts. Nice moist soil. now.

whats a good way to increase humidity with out a humidifyer sense i have such a small space.

why do you need to do that... ? never studied humidity and never will..
Also using them cold clfs, your just inviting molds cause you dont have enough heat, imo..
And the leaf wilts can be contributed to that to cold and damp.. If you live in mass, i cant imagine your soil core temps being very warm..

Should I turn off a fan? to increase hit, and well the warmer days are comming, my room is usualy around 70 so i believe the box is around 75

you might want to get them puppies hot, but keep you eye on them. I dont run fans at night, that would just be a draft, and is a draft when its still not very warm out..

It may look nice, but do like a fan blowing on you right now? no you would catch cold, even if room temps are low 70's.. Often humans take temperatures at eye level. Its much colder on the floor..
you will see the drooping go away when its warmer.. in the 80's...
