funny movie from the 60s with Jackie Gleason on acid http://www.fark.com/cgi/vidplayer.pl?IDLink=4295570
i remember seeing that movie at some point.. its a damn shame hollywood to this day hasnt come close to depicting a acid trip..
How can they ?? it's not the same for everyone.. Some people walk around like zombies, others just giggle and say Ooh wow at everything or watch things melt.. Others sit back and take the ride... Peace
from the person whos tripping. lsd visuals are unmistakable and ive yet to see them be recreated with any accuracy.
I'm not defending them, I just don't know how they can do any better.. Nobody sees the same things, or feels the same things. I don't even know why they try.. Peace
here, educate yourself and youll see why what your saying is not true. http://www.erowid.org/references/refs_view.php?A=ShowDoc1&ID=6811
I agree. There are individual visions depending on the persons enviorment and memory (and an infinite amount of other factors), but then there is the visual distortion, which is surely the same, though dose dependant. Are the spins from alcohol different for everyone? No, and neither is the acid tweaking. There is a difference between a visual and a hallucination/thought. One is distorted view, the other is manifestation of mind.
exactly.. i was trying to figure out how to word the "manifestation of the mind" thing but couldnt figure out how to do it so i deleted what i had started with. so thanks for the post my friend.. the bottom line is everyone's visuals come from the same visual distortions, which therefore should be able to be mimicked closer to factual by hollywood than they do even today..
Seriously, I've always wondered that my self! I once saw a cartoon early in the morning that nailed it down pretty close, but that was a long time ago and I cant remember what it was. This is the closest I've ever seen thats not a cartoon lol http://snackfeed.com/videos/detail/...25-00304897c9c6/The-Cinco-Facts-Machine-?_s=s
I have every single Honeymooners episode ever on my other hard drive...I cant get enough of that show...the man was a comic genius
