Never in my life would I have ever thought I would get a tattoo that would match someone. First of all, I think it's kind of cheesy. I'm not really into cheesy corny stuff. I also just don't think you should get a tat that has anything to do with anyone else because I have had so many bad experiences with other people in my life I don't have a lot of trust in others.

But.. one day in my theatre class I started talking to the girl next to me and we hit it off. The first night we hung out we went on an all night road and talked the entire time. When we went home we didn't want our time together to end.

I have never had a connection with another human being like I do with Ash. She instantly became my best friend, my sister. And I don't have a clue what I'd do without her!

Anywho.. we made a big night out of getting tattoos one evening. We had a little "date" lol. We went out to dinner and everything. We have so much fun together.

This is a picture of my tat before getting the color in.

    And here they are together!

We both still love them and they represent so much to us. I'm so glad we got them done together and when we are little old women even if we are on opposite sides of the Earth we will always be connected. :)

I think it's pretty cool to "share" a tattoo :)

I had a nice idea today for something similar. The sleeve design I'm planning at the moment has a woman in it, and I'm going to put on her arm the same flash my husband has on his. Obviously not at the same level of detail, but enough to see the similarity :)

They look really good. I also like how there are subtle differences. The same, yet different.
