Yeah, that pipe is the shit, right? =) It's mad useful, and comfortable to hold too.

Yeast isn't sentient. By your same argument, how can one be vegan if they breathe? With every breath, countless bacteria, virii, and other single-celled and/or microscopic organisms are killed.

The vegan argument is one of non-suffering, much like the Buddha. We are concerned chiefly with not making animals and other organisms suffer. Now, plants, bacteria, and other non-animals do not have a central nervous system, nor do they have any way in which they can "feel" suffering. Therefore, whether we eat them or not has no effect on the thing's feelings, because they have nothing that can be called "emotion" or "feeling." They do not suffer as a result of our decision to eat them to stay alive.

If you believe that plants can feel (for whatever strange reason), then veganism is not for you. Rather, fruitarianism is what you need.

i've always wondered about fruitarians......if they are such because they believe that its wrong to kill plants on the basis that they have feelings and are self aware.....

do they use paper? toilet paper? writing paper? ive just always wondered that...

Fuck yeah, it's the shit! I love it. Although, mine's so clogged now, I can't even use it. I have no idea how to clean a wooden pipe. Can't soak it in Iso, I don't think, like with metal and glass pipes. Hmmm...any ideas?

That's cool. A lot of people like to say that as an argument, so ... =P Better safe than sorry, right?

It wasn't a reply to you, just a reply to what was said, so don't take it personally, aye? =) You're a pretty cool person, so I don't mean to pick a fight.

Yeah, go down to your local tobacco store and get some pipe cleaners (little white sticks of furryness, idk) and some pipe cleaning solution. You might be able to even use iso, I'm not sure. But ask them first.

I say, do what you think is right for you. Don't let anyone tell you you're less of a vegan because you had to kill the patch of lice on yer head lmao

Don't let anyone tell you, you're hypocritical for being vegan but drink like a fish.

Just let people live, I say. :)

and that wasn't directed at anyone, so don't take it personally. just a statement I wanted to make.
