jerry bruckheimer films scare me, mostly because of how much of my life it is possible to waste watching them.

I was kind of freaked out by Videodrome. That was good. The Blair Witch Project had something going for it as did the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Both those movies had a lot of great psych research behind them. Sixth Sense was also great. The Exorcist was outstanding for thier time (especially the exorcist).

The very best horror film I ever saw, though, has to be Black Christmas. It wasn't the finest made film, but there was an element of "this could really happen" to it that makes it's premise continue to be the stuff of urban legends even today.

Oh yeah, and there are two other films which stand out in my memory as being really well put together. The Reanimator and Dagon, both based on H.P. Lovecraft works. Just great horror movies. Period.

ya the Excorsist was pretty damn scary especially for the time. I am going to have to say that the movie "Final Destination" and the movie "May" definately tripped me out.

I was really freaked by The Ring too, and The Others. The most scared ive gotten from a film though has to be when Pet cemetary first came out on vid,it was the first thriller/horror i ever watched.
