ummmmm i'm perplexed as to why money would have been spent on something like this when we already have something far far better called the internet
well I suppose as art, that makes it ok it's almost like something that should have been back in the late 1800's......
Because sometimes we still need physicality. You can't touch the internet, but knowing that your reflection is bouncing off thousands of mirrors across an entire ocean at the speed of light is in my mind far better. Nothing, including the internet, can beat that wonders of nature and physics.
It's a neat idea. The way the people are fascinated by it is in itself a work of art. I wonder when someone will turn up with a giant backdrop of the stone age or something and dress up like an ape-man and sit around eating a bag of chicken legs from kfc.
