Ok, so I am very much into guys,I have had many relationships with guys and guys are always on my mind with whatever i do ;-) I have never had any type of sexual relationship with a girl not even kissed one, but the past couple of nights, I have dreamt about girls doing things to me and have woken up turned on. I have never had a dream like this before and have never thought about girls in this way, if i am honest this has the opposite effect.
Well it sounds like your sub-conscience could be telling you something!! Excuse the idiosyncratic nature of what I am to say, but it sort of makes sense. A man can wake up after a crazy night of dreams regarding bumblebee's, and still manage to achieve the good ol' morning wood. Truth is you have many dreams at night you don't remember also, so being 'turned on' probably doesn't donate too much. It could be a dreaming simply implying a feeling of closeness you have for an individual you know in waking, even if this person was not the woman in question. It's whether, thinking about it now, you did simply enjoy it. Just because you never thought about it before doesn't mean your sexual proclivity was ever written in stone.
Another decade old thread but I want to share my thoughts. Sex dreams are rarely about sex, at least for post pubescent folks. Sex in dreams is usually a metaphor for emotional closeness. When you wake up from such a dream the sex part makes no sense and often you're repulsed. However the OP was waking up aroused after such a dream. You don't seem inclined to consider same sex activities actively, but I think your subconscious is telling you it's something you need to explore. Go for it. I'll admit it will probably be difficult for you to take the first steps. And there will be periods where you are honestly not interested in the same sex. But at some point in your life you will have a potential opportunity. Be wise with your choices but let yourself have that opportunity, and let yourself enjoy it if it is enjoyable.
