I'm bored out of my mind and my friend just called me telling me to come over to help him smoke 15 joints and finish a bottle of rum. His house is across a bridge, through a tunnel - about a 10 mintue drive, and I don't have a car at the moment. Life might as well just flip me the bird and laugh in my face.
Everyone that could take me is either drunk or asleep or unwilling. lol I'll just have to take a rain check, I guess. Damn it.
that is impossible that the only way there in on an interstate i don't believe it i think you are just lazy
I live on the Chesapeake Bay in Hampton, VA. The only way across the bay is through the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel, which is I-64. I could take the Monitor-Merrimac tunnel, but that is I-664 - still illegal and about 45 minutes out the way. Could take the James River Bridge, which is a 1 hour 30 minute detour when using I-64 and the HRBT would take 10 minutes max. These times are all using a car, of course. To take the one way in which I could legally walk would take me an entire day. I could go to the marina and get the boat, I suppose. Why would I lie about something like that? Makes no sense to. lol
Here is a map of the area to prove that I've not lied. Point A being my home point B being the glorious destination of 15 blunts and rum. As you can see, there are only three ways across the bay, two of which are I-664 and, the most direct route for me, I-64. The other route, which is public road, but I still think there is no pedestrian traffic allowed, the James River Bridge, shown here as Mercury Blvd, would take far too long for a bike ride. :smash: lulz
Where there's a will, there's a way. 15 joints and a bottle of rum? I would ride a Donkey there if I truly had to.
A hang glider might be fun, if the wind is blowing the right direction. You could also rent a jet ski.
