The Virgin Suicides

Wasn't sure where to put this since there isn't a Drama sub-forum.
Has anyone seen this movie and if so what is your opinion of it. I finally saw the whole thing from start to finish the other day and I really liked it.

 

The movie wasnt bad, but I kinda liked the book better.

 

who wrote the book? i'd really like to check it out if i could find it at the library

I love the soundtrack of this movie, Air did a great job.

 

I want to read the book but i haven't found it any where yet.

 

That film looks really good, I really wanna see it.

 

I really enjoy both the book and the movie. It creeps me out. Doesn't scare me, just creeps me out... But I find that more satisfying than being terrified and jumping and screaming.

 

I enjoyed watching this film... I wanna buy the book of it..

 

I love this movie; I think they were tried of being locked up in their rooms. Lux probe felt stupid falling for trip. He sleeps with her and never talks to her again. And he knew that the parents would flip out when lux never mad it home. All he wanted to do was sleep with her. Killing them self’s was they only way out from their parents. They all got to be together in heaven

 

I love it when a band makes a soundtrack for a film, and it's just like a concept album or something. Eddie Vedder's Into the Wild is another good one.

 

i found it boring to be honest, and pointless.

i loved girl, interrupted, so i was recommended this but sofia coppola's movies just dont do it for me. i didnt like marie antoinette either.

just... dull. sorry.

I thought it as brilliant, very haunting...Air's soundtrack is incredible, it makes half the movie

 

I completely forgot about this movie. I saw it years ago and loved it. Definitely worth watching.

I will agree that the book is much better but regardless, loved the film. One of my favorites.

 

I love the line after the the 13 year old attempts suicide and the doctor asks why a 13 year old girl would ever want to kill herself and she says something along the lines of, "Obviously, doctor, you've never been a 13 year old girl.".
