my boyfriend has been trying for weeks to sell this thing... seems that he gets a reply.. " i want it.. i'll be there tomorrow!" then he gets an email later saying "sorry, the wife says no... " some guy is looking at it now.

if you lived close to me id probably buy the vw last year i came super close to buying this big van painted with cowboys on it and the hood said "boot scoot boogie", wouldve been cool but it was super high priced
it was a cute vw bug... it's gone. the guy actually bought it. he got so many replies.. this one knucklehead wanted to trade it for gift certificates to a store either of us would ever shop in.. NO! would have been nice to have the bug too.. but the universe doesn't work that way.
I want a really old light blue and cream one and to put linen colored uphosterey and curtains in it. I like the really old ones, but Andy had a 73 one and wants another one that's that year. I think the ones fromt eh 70's are a bit ugly.
camper vans would be pretty awesome to, my friends parents use to own one when we were little kids, but they sold it years ago
My best friend at school had a VW camper wagon (well his dad did) and we had many happy journeys over the years and every time I see one I think of these happy times and varied stupid conversations. Sadly his dad died a few years ago and was only in his early 70s, but he is fondly remembered. Hope you have fond memories too.
