I've been courting someone online for the past four months. We've been doing late night phoning and back-and-forth emailing. Our first date will be in December. Problem ? The distance. This one lives in Idaho and I'm a southern Californian. I've never been there and am a little nervous about being in a red state. Anyone have any Idaho experiences? Is it really totally fundamentalist and redneck as folks think ?
where in idaho? a lot of the rural south is pretty mormon, with the nazis and libertarians up north boise seems like a pretty nice and normal place, moscow too
I'm up North, here its a lot of wigger kids and a few partier. Almost no hippies, mostly douche bag Californians that moved up and fucked with the economy. Middle is a lot of religious old people and hicks, meth, drunks and the like. South is where I'm clueless... Mormons and Boise State I guess.
I turn 50 in April of this year. I'm flying into Boise and renting a car. Highlight places to see will be Twin Falls and Jackpot, NV. Any other suggestions of must sees/must do's in Boise ?
yeah i live in boise and idaho city most of my life... boise has been gettin more chill the last few years i wouldnt worry about that it is a republic state...boise is very green .. i love it there...<3
i moved from Ohio (living with my mom) to WA state to live with my Dad. It was great, 15 minutes from Portland, then he took a job in Coeur d Alene Idaho.... We've been here for nearly a year. I have no friends and I hate it here... I's so conservative and the people here that I've met are so detached from reality its astounding. I'm suppose to be going to Boise State this fall for school... maybe it will be better down there, probably not, its still Idaho but I guess it beats living in Ohio.
Hey, I live in the south east part (Idaho Falls). This part of the state is mostly mormons and conservative bible thumpers, but the Boise area is cool, up north around Moscow isn't too bad either.
