okay okay. have it your way, whatever that way may be. i suppose it's possible that i read in your posts aggression that isn't actually there. you just seem so territorial over something called "Rainbow", so much so that you seem to feel the need to defend it. you seem to believe "Rainbow" is threatened by "Looking Heart", that somehow his comments of disgruntlement can actually do harm to a national gathering that has been a tradition for over 30yrs. i don't know, man, but you sure seem uptight about stuff that IMO is rather trivial in the grander scheme of things. is "Looking Heart" really all that powerful that he deserves so much of your focus and ire? and besides, the establishment of alternate July 4th gatherings can only add to the Om. folks who can't or won't travel across country to attend the massize RFoLL gatherings might be happy to attend a smaller gathering close to home. and folks who tend to avoid massive crowds might be comfortable at a smaller gathering. and all these gatherings could be going on at the same time and each Om could be timed for simultaneous expression with the huge collective Oming at the RFoLL. that would be so cool! imagine what that would look like from Inner Space. anyway ... obviously this Looking Heart character and the AGOTT is a sore spot for you. i ain't gonna poke you about it anymore. peace.
for your info. 2005 looking heart was there lees than 4 hrs., 2006 he showed up for 2 hrs. 2007 he didnt show up at all, dont know 08 i wasnt there. dont know why you think its looking hearts agott ??
well, one of the alternative July 4th gathering, the one we're presently discussing, is called the A Gathering of the Tribes ie AGOTT. i guess maybe "national" in any title applied to smaller July 4th gatherings might refer to "not just for locals" and it being held on July 4th. **shrug** PS. from a practical POV i think realisticly there can only be one "National", that is to say a gathering big enough to represent the all continental regions and the amazing variety of people and Ways. however, i see no problem with folks gathering and doing their own July 4th rainbow thing elsewhere and inviting every rainbow to join them.
Ok you got my attention...What is the focus? To have movies of two gatherings. One large, one small? At the same time? Without enough folks, its a regional. I like the kitchens and general resources that come with 20,000 plus. Grow a regional to least 15,000. Then call it AGOTT Nationals. Til then offset schedual times.I be to both, skipping and singing. Start AGOTT so nationals clean up brothers can make seed camp at Mark Twain July early Aug? Just thoughts. Love you.....I'm really clueless bout the last few years haven't even made a regional myself so I can't put any true good input but I appreciate the feather to talk a little here in cyb space. I'm not even sure bout making Nm this year. My heart aches to though. Peace ....Grayhawk in St.Louis.
well, as far as i'm concerned it's all about freedom. the freedom to gather where, when and with whom one pleases. and IMO, folks can call their gatherings anything they want. regional, national, annual, rainbow, united dumb fux ... whatever.
Yeah I know one time when scout council chose Mo "state" park they bulldozed up their own road. We got the park picnic tables to use. And they towed several cars into town. The Mark Twain forest is always drama for signatures for sure.I thought a couple years ago a brother was buying land up next to Mark Twain for family gathering?Any way its all about hippie time ehh... Loven you..peace
No Man i never even messed with it i didnt wanna f*&% with the feds so i blew it off Like Plunker says I Am a Peace able person= I try to keep peace if i can Loving you ~tony see yalls in NM ill be there in June
LH only stayed a couple days @ `08 AGOTT. i`d only only been to `06 before that. & this only because it was closer to home. & @ the time we had a couple of vehicles. i`d lived in that area for a couple yrs before that. so i knew it. so, by `08 i knew a whole lot more & just went very early. rippee is very fragile though. respect the small cave/spring. please don`t try to run a waterpipe from it. it would be ruined. there are heiroglyphics/runes there. & please don`t try to hold a giant gathering in the giant meadow. d.o.c. set aside a smaller meadow for us. tho i understand there are poison ivy shoots in it. i don`t get poison ivy, so i don`t worry about it. or setup @ abbey downstream. it was quite full in `08 & may be fuller in `09.
please get ice every time u get beer. please help tote water from creek. it`s quite close. please respect locals. there will be many locals there. possibly more than "rainbow". camp only in designated spots. please bring watercraft. please don`t drive very many vehicles to brown`s cave. if you must drive there, please float downstream to it. drive back if you must. try to bring bikes to brown`s cave, but leave them in "parking lot". try to post someone up @ vera cruz. try to have a float back down to rippee. one gets the full effect that way. & float on down to Abbey land, from brown`s cave. that way fragility is safe. we call this abbey land because there`s a real monastery nearby. they let locals party there. i`ve never met the monks.
Beer...sigh...one of the bigger arguments from the MO regionals, the beer argument...guess I know who won the argument when it comes to the MO-GOT
i cant belive your saying that, thats the reason the agott wa started, no BEER cant belive you dont get it
Now that I think about it, I believe I have heard the AGOTT focalizers brag that there's "No A-Camp" at there A gathering, but, when pressed, they will say that what they mean by that is that there is no designated drinking ghetto. This is not a bad thing, IMO, but would upset Rainbow Fundamentalists.
