Hello all, I have a question regarding marijuana and erectile dysfunction, and was hoping some in here would have experience with it. I have been seeing this girl since the fall. At first the sex was great, but I did notice that it was difficult to cum. This really wasn't that big of a deal to me since I could last ages, but still frustrating. Fast forward to the end of winter and into spring, and I seem to not be able to have sex at all. I get hard when we first initiate making out and if she gives me head, but when it comes time for intercourse I go limp. It's like I don't feel anything. The woman I am with is very sexy to me, so it sucks to have her think that it is her. I have a hunch through research that this problem may be due to my marijuana use. I have been using very frequently since the summer, and that may explain the progressive symptoms (being able to stay hard but no cum -> no erection at all). A little more background: I am a otherwise healthy 21 year old man, with only a history of colon flare-up problems. So does anyone have any experience with this that they can throw out at me? Do you think it's the weed? If so, can anyone recommend a detox accelerator that may help speed up the sexual improvements if I stopped using today (may be a stretch). Thanks all!! __________________

Well, for me I have to say that I don't have that problem. Not that I am trying to rub it in or out for that matter. When I used to smoke only every once in a while, a long time ago, I usually got some oral from my at the time wife. When I first started smoking again I would associate smoking weed to getting head so when I smoked I would get hard. A Pavlivian responce for sure. Hell, I still get horney sometimes.

Now, regarding your concerns. Are there any other changes in your lifestyle that might affect your problem? The only thing I would say would to not smoke prior to sex. It can also be in your head a little. Try not to dwell on the subject. If you really think it's the smoke then the best way to find out is to take a break. The only way to really quit is to just do it. Quit. You can always pick it up again later. My only other suggestion would be to consult a doctor about it. Although a 21 year old person such as yourself should not be having these problems.

While your high weed can definitely effect you. THC lowers your blood pressure, which makes it hard...to stay hard lol. Delayed orgasm is also a common effect if your high. Also, since its easy to get detracted while your high you head might be in a different place, so that could have something to do with it. If your having trouble while your not high, than I don't think it has to do with the weed.
