Dub Echoes!

    what is wrong with me.. haha.. i've been left out! its just very recently that i discovered this documentary about dub music.. its called DUB ECHOES.. well, anyone here who is into or not into dub would want ta take a look.. haha.. sure, just google it up and it would pop-up! ayos!

    Dub is a form of Reggae using alot of drum sounds and bass riffs that is often heavily electronical. It has repetitive beats and thus aids in meditation.

    Some famous Dub performers are Lee 'Scratch' Perry, King Tubby and Augustus Pablo.

    Just for anyone who didnt know :D

    And to the original poster, I think Dub music is very good but King Tubby is the best in my opinion.

    King Tubby would definitely have to be the BEST for him to have conceived and pioneered the genre single-handedly. :)

    Lee Perry is even there on that documentary.. saying he stopped everything, from smoking weed ta drinking.. he says its ruining his music for it is not him who makes the music, its those vices and so he got tired of it all and stopped everything altogether..

    i do like dub, but roots will always be my fave type of reggae
    some of the stuff that sorta bridges the gap though is really cool

    just listened to some
    like it its pretty good
    but like se i like roots better
