Maybe one hit won't turn a person into a junkie but one hit will add dangerous toxins to one's body. I gotta ask, since you are so all-fire set to defending people's rights to hurt themselves....how many friends and family have you lost to highly-addictive drugs like meth or heroin?
None, what's your point? Everyone does indeed have the right to hurt themselves, otherwise we get the nanny-state system that bans things 'for your own good'. Yes, drugs do damage. Doesn't mean we should take the choice to do that damage away from people.
I don't advise you try it. I've done it a handful of times and I want it more every time. Anytime it's mentioned, I want it. And If I had the money, I'd be buying it. That's why you shouldn't try it, you'll always always always want it. Maybe I personally want it more because I love being on it. But it's a hell drug. If you're going to do it anyway I'll tell you what I felt: euphoria through out my body a calm energy (hard to explain this one. not as calm as marijuana makes you but you've got the energy of cocaine with out the feeling of really wanting to run around) sometimes i felt very very anxious i experience what i call an "ear rush", everything kind of zoned out and i was very aware of my surroundings and my head felt a new feeling and my ears felt very heavy, only lasted 30 seconds though uhm, i don't remember much, it's march now and i havn't done it since december I suggest that if you catch you're self doing the same thing for a while, try to stop. Like one time I got home and I had pubic hair growing in my bikini line and i have sensitive skin and it was ingrown, basically i was stuck picking at myself for hours. another time a girl gave me a journal cause my mind wouldn't stop racing and i had things to ask people so i would write it down. I wrote for hours and hours and none of it made since a few days later because i didn't have the patience to finish any sentence. That journal makes me scared to look at now. almost the whole thing is filled with nonsence things in one night. but things like concerta get me in these kinds of ruts to where i can't stop doing things. i.e. grinding my teeth for days after, doing math, anything that makes me learn.
I had so many friends go downhill from meth it was horrible , and they all think its so innocent at first because it doesnt screw you up right away. It gives you extra energy and makes dull everyday tasks seem a lot more interesting , but for all the good things you think its doing for you in the beginning , it takes away from you three fold. I had to get the father of my kids clean , and I went thru the withdrawls with him , the not being able to do anything but asleep when he didnt have any , and the delusions when he did because he used for years. FInally , I got him clean and we moved from Vista , california , meth capital of San DIego. If anyone can actually use Meth in a sensible manner without getting addicted , I would sure like to meet them.
None...that's what I thought. My point is this, you sound almost encouraging in your posts, meanwhile loads of other people are expressing the pain that meth has caused them, either directly or indirectly. Meth is illegal in almost everyplace that I know of, except maybe Amsterdam, but in the end, it's a person's choice of what they are going to do anyway; all that has been offered here is a lot of advise...most of it good advise from people who love their fellow humans. Tell me, if your child chooses to drink poison, will you allow him or her to do it or will you take the choice away from him or her? Oh & BTW, there have been people who have died from one hit of meth...granted not many but one is too many IMO.
That's a false analogy - a child has no way of knowing that what they're drinking is poison. If, however, an adult capable of reasoning said 'hey I'm gonna drink this poison' then I'd have no right to interfere.. And true indeed that people have died from one hit of meth - but people have died from one cigarette, or even a glass of milk. Would you then say that tobacco and milk should be avoided?
My child is 18 and if I saw him trying to drink poison, I would take it away from him, so it is not a false analogy. I can believe that an asthmatic might die from one cigarette but please show me a link to an article telling of the person who died from drinking one glass of milk. And yes, as a former tobacco smoker whose husband was on his way to dying from cigarettes, I would say that tobacco should be avoided.
it's household cleaning products, they say don't ingest them, that's why you don't ingest them! it's peoples choice what they wanna do but like i never was interested in doing meth
That won the gold. And is soo true. It's happening in my town as well and it's happening in town all over the united states. I recently ran into one of my old friends that I haven't seen since high school which was in 2002. I didn't recognize her, she had to say " Tiff don't you remember me? It's Amber." She looked like a skeleton, her teeth were rotting, her mouth sunken in, her eyes sunken in, I could see her bones. I couldn't believe it, it freaked me out. She deteriorated in less than 7 years.
In answer to the first post...WHATSAMATTA WITH YA!!!! Are you crazy??? There is enough info out there about meth nowadays that you should know NOT to do it. This comes from an ex speed/needle freak! Don't be an ass!!!!!!!!
Ahhhh I remember my first speed trip. Age 19. It was a gas. Pitched hay all day. I knew it was bad for me though and never again (well, once more but it wasn't so much fun). I asked God to make me feel that way all the time. He didn't.
Take it from the Canned Heat!!!!!!!!!!! This is a song with a message, I want you to heeeeed my warning. Wanna tell you all a story, about this chick I know. They call her Amphetamine Annie, and she's always shovelin' snow. I sat her down and told her, I told her crystal clear I don't mind you gettin' high but there's one thing you should fear Your mind might think it's flyin' baby on those little pills But you ought to know it's dyin', cause - speed kills! But Annie kept on speedin', her health was gettin' poor She saw things in the window, she heard things at the door Her mouth was like a grindin' mill, her lips where cracked and soar Her skin was turnin' yellow, I just couldn't take it no more She thought her mind was flyin' on those litte pills She didn't know it was going down fast, cause - speed kills! --- Solo --- Yaaaa, speed can kill you too baby, yaa Well I sat her down and told her, I told her one more time The whole wide human raice has taken far too much melamine She said "I don't care what a limey says, I got to get it on I'm not hip to the seen of the man who come from across the pond." She wouldn't heed my warning, Lord she wouldn't hear what I said Now she's here in the grave yard, and she's awfully dead. Ya, speed gonna kill you! Anybody. Speed will get you! Speed from over the pond. There ain't no hope baby... Yaa, aah hah. Spoon a Spoon a Spoon.... huah...
probably it sounded dumb to you, but it is something i am actually taking very serious man...but i seriously think you seemed more like a dumb ass actually taking your time to re-type it !!
Terrific lyrics. Brings to mind a Neil Young song...something about, Look at Bill/Up on the hill/Havin' a ball/Rollin' to the bottom.
I hate when someone puts meth in the joints at a party and doesn't tell you. I've smoked it in weed a few times and totally hate that combo buzz. ain't fun, makes me feel awful.
Its not worth trying it, you`ll be taking a gamble. It grabs some people by the balls really quick like and destroys them really bad. Its not even worth it dealing with all the shady people that sell it. Its always negative bad energy when that shit is around. they aint nothin good about it. It will eat you alive from the inside out........
methamphetamine aint any worse for you than adderall as long as the cook didn't make it dirty... which alot of it is dirty
