Helloooo all :troll: Just thought a thread about switching over to more sustainable products was fitting. Over the past couple of years I've been getting more and more concerned about my sustainability. The past 6 months I've been managing an online marketplace, which I'm also a buyer for. I'm immersed in awesome sustainable products. The truth is, once I started finding better alternatives to stuff we use everyday, you don't really even have to think about it anymore. So my top 3 favorite alternatives would have to be:

    1. Bamboo and hemp clothing. Bamboo is sooo soft and both fibers are naturally antibacterial. Awesome.
    2. Siege Chemical products- such an underrated company! I learned about them just by searching the internet for products for our store. I love this stuff.. All natural cleaners that are biodegradable and hypo allergenic.
    3. Seven Generation products. Recycled toilet paper (hopefully not recycled from used :)) Recycled paper towels, dish detergents, clothes detergents that are natural.

and just in case anyone might be interested here's the store I run :hat:
who knows, maybe you can find something nice for your crazy tree huggin' economy hating friends heehee

sorry, that looks like spam. Feel free to add it to your profile as homepage.

Awe! Thanks for sharing. I'm looking up the companies right now.

Right now, the cleaners that I use are those Green cleaners that you can buy at Walmart (such a dreadful place...).

I just wish I had more options at home, instead of having to order all natural products off the internet...

Why not just make your own cleaning products? That way you can use natural ingredients and cut down on packaging. Plus, green products can be quite expensive and sometimes hard to find (and personally I dont feel like supporting a company like WalMart).

Here is just one of the many sites you can find on the internet that give great instructions: http://www.eartheasy.com/live_nontoxic_solutions.htm
