Boarding House manager. haha It has decent pay and no experience required. I just need a job and I have experience with dealing with people and answering phones.

 

damn, you really must be desperate.

i mean, i have experience stepping in dog shit, but i wouldn't apply for a job doing so.

 

Unemployment is up 170% here. I've applied to just about every where.

9.3% officially in the state. its sure as hell a lot worse than that unofficially .

i would say close to 18% if you factor in those not on unemployment out of work.

double seems to be the correct equation when the government releases those numbers..

ive yet to apply for a position where under two hundred have applied.

 

yet my work's had a now hiring sign up for a couple weeks now and we've gotten about 10 applications...

 

I applied to work at McDonalds and didn't get it. haha There is nothing here.

 

haha, boarding house is a definite step up from that at least.

 

I don't care what the job is. I just need a job.

 

oh i know. no judgment here; really, i'll work pretty much anywhere.

edit: and i'm really not trying to imply that boarding house is necessarily a bad job either; i just hate dealing with people so it sounds unpleasant to me.

 

I hate it to. haha But if I get paid for the misery then I can deal.

 

This is why I love my job of security guard, nobody expects me to be nice

I can be a mean arsehole if I want to, or, if I'm in a good mood, I can be nice and people go 'wow, a nice security guard, what a rarity'

good luck as I am in the same boat and facing a felony

however the dude who got me the felony has failed t ua's at court and I have failed none. He is currently being held till our trial date. Should be good news for me

 

Good luck! I hope you get it, you should call them back to see if they received your application and such. Always when I call back for a job they ask me to come in for an interview, while when I dont, it rarely happens.
