So I got tapers for both ears from 6-0g. I put my 6 gauge taper in my right ear perfectly fine, didn't feel shit. Well, I waiting to gauge my left ear a few hours after because I just put a 10g in my 14g hole above my lowest left piercing and I didn't want to stress my left ear lobe to much. Hm, I also forgot that my left ear is a bitch when stretching and I have to take it sooo much slower than my righit ear. I was finally ready and started pushing it through, a lot of resistance so far, then I decide fuck it and give it a shove because I'm not going to sit there all night. As I shoved it the rest of the way through I hear/felt a tearing in my fucking ear. My face like fuckin turned completly red, it was fucking PAINFUL! Never has that happened.. I haven't looked at the ear real good (it's now the morning after) but it's just a little red and a little painful. Grrr, yeah, maybe you should take your time. Ouch. lol
Yeahh, jeez, it was only 1 size down. Like, I've never heard my ear literatly make a ripping sound.... it's painful to hear ha.
I just put the taper in as far as it'll go, then leave it. Then the next day, I see if it wants to go any farther, then leave it. Stretching from 00g to 7/16" took about a week. I tore a lobe once, and never want to experience that again.
Dang, no it didn't bleed so maybe it didn't rip? Idk, 2 days later and it still hurts like a bitch. TM, basically your idea is the RIGHT idea but I just feel to impatient but in the long run I suppose it will be better to take the time.
Were you stretching it a bunch in one night ?? Really shouldn't do that. I always put it in as far as it wants to go and than I'll leave it for a day or two until its not so swollen to push the rest of the way through. My friend who is stretching to 2 inches ripped hers and used some surgical tape wrapped around the ripped part until it healed and than put the plug * from before she started stretching in* to give it time to rest and heal. poor little ears :0
Oooh. Yeah, I'm a sucker for to much at once. Over achieving isn't always a good thing Stretched mine from 4mm to 10mm last night (irresponsable I knoooow) But I always tend to do mine slowley. It normally takes me about 2 hours to stretch my lobe. Slowley is key. I have never got a ripping sensation though, but it's definitley painful. Is your ear okay?
