I just wanted to let everyone know that if your trying to quit opiates and suffer from w/d then suboxone is the way to go. I only had minor w/d when I would stop taking OC after taken for months period at a time. Today my buddy let me have a N8 Orange suboxone 2mg and I just took a little small chunk of it since my tolerance is fairly low for opiates and it worked great. Also I have found taking xanax will help with any mental w/d as well. If you don't have any of those available smoking weed helps out some to. Also don't forget about the immodium AD for the ope shits. Well these were my experiences with helping to get through w/d and still being able to continue with your daily life feeling normal. I know everyones different and it may be harder for some than others. But remember with a few other resources it can be quite easy to kick your habit if it starts having a negative impact on your life. I've been on suboxone for a few months now, doing oxy once or twice a month, i get them from my friend, and he stopped his program, so ive started weening down. I only do/did 2 mgs a day, but still scared when my last dose is up.
yeah I only got one 2mg pill last night and I just been taking small chunks of it. Just enough to clear my head 100%. This stuff is amazing although I do still feel a slight opiate high so we'll see if it helps at all once I'm out of it. After that I'm just going to stick with bud since it is much cheaper and doesn't have w/d and never turns into a everyday habit. Bars work great to they get rid of any anxiety I think the main problem people have with them is they take to much and it has the tranquilizer effect just a little will chill some mind. Don't get me wrong I will do OC once again but only in moderation as I had been doing for the past few years up to until recently when it became nearly everyday.
Are you sure you didnt get an 8 mg pill, if its big and says N8 then its 8 mgs, then 2mgs are tiny ass pills, and if your taking little chunks off that, than thats pretty amazing.
It must have been a 8MG pill then my bad I just looked it up real fast and got it wrong. That suboxone stuff works great though I don't have any cravings for opiates at all and last time I took suboxone was around noon today and it was just about 1/3 of the 8mg.
Those orange pills make me want to puke every time I put some underneath my tongue. The taste is HORRIBLE!

Yup. I'm currently on those same pills. They're 8mgs. The cost of those things are beyond crazy & so far, no insurance around will cover them. SHITTY!
Anybody know about how expensive suboxone is from the pharmacy and if there is a generic for it? Just curious.
for all of you out there who hate the taste of suboxone, I am with you. So much so in fact that it makes me physically ill. Well the naloxone in the pill does, not the taste, but that horrible orange peel taste sure doesnt do anything to make it any better. I told this to my doc, mentioned that I did some research and that it might be better if I try subutex instead. The doc agreed no problem, and they dont taste terrible... sorta just like a regular white pill. Plus I feel so much better on subutex than suboxone, so those of you out there who feel like giving it a shot, I doubt you would regret it.
interesting. i get mine off the street so thats not really an option. its funny though the first time i ever took suboxone i liked the taste of it.
