I forgot to bring my camera so I have stolen somebody else's picture, but this was it. There were no lights or electricity and we had to cook everything and heat our water over a little wood powered stove. It was a really short walk to the beach, which was stunning and mostly empty of people. The scenery was alot like this, all the way along the coastline for miles: Even though it was short, it was one of the best camping experiences I have ever had. I am thinking of renting the hut out again when I have my honeymoon, after I have met the right person in 40 years or so. It is a truly romantic place, especially in the firelight.
Thankyou for acknowledging the awesomeness of my weekend. If it makes you feel any better, everytime we tried fishing we only manage to tangle up the lines with seaweed, oh yeah and I got caught in a rip and nearly got dragged out into rough seas where I probably would have been thrown against a cliff and crushed to death had I not been able to swim out of it. Fun.
Yea. The picture doesn't do it justice. Seriously, the whole coast is just a string of beautiful coves like this one with the most perfect, clear water you can dream of, or good surf if you want as well.
I like the sign in front of the hut. Just in case you got confused between that and the local Hilton or something? Anyway, glad you had a good time.
me and my hubby have been away to the coast for the last four days. we stayed on a small island for one day and spent the day on a beach, totally empty of people...it was incredible. it went on for miles and not a soul in sight. it looks beautiful there. bet you had a great time.
When I was 9 years old, my best friend was an emu. There was a fence between us, sure, but I fed him straw from his bed.
