How do you think that your abundant knowledge and informed opinion on current world politics makes you actually any different from the herd you speak about? How does all of this research and propaganda benefit your life, or that of others for that matter? As you have shaken off your conditioning, what concrete differences has it made?
He hasn't really shaken off anything as he still has a sour attitude if anyone opposes his informed views and tastefully chosen way of life.
Indeed, Much Love, to All who speak from direct experience. I feel Blessed to be around One who shares Knowledge, so freely.
This thread wasn't meant as an attack. Being a person who generally(not always) weighs up the benefits of doing something, I really am interested in how he thinks this has benefitted his life. That's all.
weither theres an effect or not sometimes its just about knowing you did what you think was right with your time
Well, that question doesn't make much sense since we are all individuals and we all have our own personalities and opinions. That would be like me asking you how you're any different because you prefer underage, prepubescent girls as opposed to fully-matured women.

There is a difference between being alive and simply existing. You can exist as a person and have lots of fun and do all the things "normal" people do. Or you can actually utilize your god-given potential and become a sentient being who questions the nature of their existence. That, to me, is what it means to be alive versus simply existing and playing the role from day to day.
It doesn't make any sense for me to ask you what difference your actions have made to your life, really?
In fact, to quote you from another thread.. So what are these concrete changes that make you stand out from the herd?
Well, to many people life is about how many "friends" they have, how many people they've had sex with, how many drugs they've taken, or how many material things they've accumulated. I care more about understanding myself and the world around me. I suppose I have a more spiritual take on life than most people. There are many personal implications, but it would take far too much time for me to go into detail. But why should MY life matter to you anyway?
