OK, what the fuck is with the Geisha lipstick on all of them...are they conserving lipstick or something?

 

the chicks aren't classic beauties, they are good palettes to work with....designers don't want attention being taken away from their clothes, that's why the chicks look like aliens....to make the clothes look better.....

and they cut off the girl's hair to one: make them uglier 2: to teach them that they have no more control over their lives or looks, they are now slaves to the industry...

it makes me fuckin sick

again, at least my daughter doesn't consider them something to strive to be.

Stick thin bodies. That's why I hate them.

 

I don't think the hopeful models on that show look super stick-thin. Actually, I was somewhat surprised that they weren't more emaciated looking given the type of show it is. I think many of them even look healthy. Give it time though, they'll be dropping even more weight off if they're signed on with a top modeling agency.

And of course, couture is not conventional at all. It is often downright ugly. Its impractical and unhealthy, and ovepriced. Duh!!! Still love the show.

 

That is a horrible makeover. The new hair ages her, and elongates her face.

 

I was looking through the portfolios/photos galleries. I don't know which series.

I thought a lot of them were pretty hot though. I mean not in all their photos of course, but not as bad as I thought they'd be.

I really love that show. I have no idea why. I have problems with most of the make-overs, too, but like Blaze, said, it's probably more to remind them that they are now a commodity to be bought and sold, and they will look however they are required to look.

I dont know how I feel about Tyra. On one hand, her personality on her ANTM show is a facade, and on her talk show she seems very genuine. But I know she censors and edits her interviews *alot*. And in that way feel she has a very limited view of the world.
