amphetamine when you're sick?

i can think it would either be good or bad. on the one hand it may speed up your system and help it fight off whatever is making you ill.

on the other hand it may wear out an already fatigued body.

either way i have a (what feels like) minor flu and i've just swallowed 30mg and snorted 10mg of adderall. i'm not taking any medicines for the sickness so i don't have any concerns about drug interactions.

so far it's giong ilke i thought it would- i feel great

i always support psychedelics because of their ability to induce a new mindset, a totally different perspective in a person. they let you see things in a whole new way, they let the entire world come together and in some ways make a lot clearer the integration of the soul and the world. i suffered for a long time from a dissociative disorder (depersonalization), which all but went away after an introspctive trip alone at night with morning glory seeds. since my last LSD trip i hjave lost a lot of fears about death and things "beyond", because i realized that the natuer of my self is entirely connected, i don't have to fear one aspect of myself "giving out" because i'm one unit, i'm one being that is just a culmination of everything that makes me up. it was like my analytical self ("over-self", the surface self) merged with my experiencing self (the true under-self, my soul if you will) so that i was complete. thyose lessons haven't left me yet and i hope they neved do.

sorry that was long i just like typign. anyway what i was gonna say was is that speed is in some ways the same. when i'm on speed all of my thoughts are crystal clear, i can think about what i want to convey and say it in the way that i want to.

i think that speed, when used in the right way, has a lot of potential, just like psychedelics do. i LOVE to write but haven't found the push lately. now i do speed and i'm homealone just typing constantly about EVERYTHING, all of my thoughts are coming out so well and perfectly (not so much on this but in the word document i have up).

Yeah, a while back when i went to school one day i was feeling like shit. I bought like 3 25mg adderalls off this one kid and took 2 and sniffed the other one and not only did i concentrate better, but i felt better too.

 

yep what a perfect day to take off school and have ~8 more hours to myself

i was wondering if taking speed alone would get boring (i LOVE talking to friends and shit on uppers) but it's not at all. instead of having nothing to do i'm seeing the potential for so many things in the house i've overlooked before.

i love to write so i'm writing now, i can play guitar, read one of the many books, cook some food for fun, go out and smoke a cigarette because it's sucj a beautiful day here on the east coast . i fact i may not even have enough time to get everything done that i want to!

 

actually nevermind there's a pretty huge difference.

when you're on speed shit matters and when you come down it doesn't.

psychedelics are a little more permanent. lessons learned can be carried over. amphetamine doesn't really "teach" you anything, it just sort of allows you to make more coherent what you already know.

haha i love cutting lines of adderall when i'm already on it. it takes me about 10 minutes because i'm noticing every tiny little chunk and i just have to get it completely, 100% to powder.

 

ok well it's 22 hours later and i'm feeling like shit, small wonder.

i did my last line of 10mg at ~5 30PM last night and spent the whole night in bed wide eyed. i thought i was coming down around 10 but i was wired all night. i just did NOT stop thinking for like 7 hours straight lol.

now i'm feeling pretty sick again and just all around weird and not to good. probably wasn't a healthy choice but it was worth it

EDIT: ugh this is wicked shitty i still feel kinda jacked and stimulated. i haven't slept in like 24 hours which isn't really that much but i'd like to get some rest. my last dose was like 15 hours ago, maybe a bit more, wtf.

 

Yah, i took amphetamines when i was sick with mono once- let me tell you BAD fucking idea. I felt even worse and left my body more exhausted and drained than it already was...

 

Yeah, i try my best to stay away from every drug, except sometimes MJ, and alcohol while I'm sick as they do make your body work harder, not sleeping is not good for your immune system and neither is getting dehydrated, which speed has been known to do for me

 

To change the subject, I'm only on 10mg of adderall but that always feels absolutely fine for me. I took like 6mg orally I guess and then snorted the rest.

I know that's a super small dose, but I think I'm just a lightweight, cause that gets me friggin' wired. Two days ago I did 15mg spread out over a little while, and that worked super well and kept me awake for a long time.

To be honest, it's probably just my slightly anxious personality when it comes to uppers. I sometimes get paranoid about my heart and shit, which happens much less on my favorite drugs (opiates ). I've always wondered what a high dose of amps would be like, but I have a feeling I wouldn't be a fan... Even with coke all i need is a really good line to feel awesome.

I suppose when I look at it... I only need 30mg of oxy to feel really good, 8mg dilly (spread out), and like 4 beers to get drunk. Not to mention weed, which starts to work after 1-2 good hits.

Well, sorry to hear that you felt like shit, but at least you were good while the amps were in you

Damn, adderall does make you type a shitload and let all your thoughts go... now if only the fuckin' chest pains and anxiety went away I might like them more.

edit: btw does anybody else feel any tightness i their chest on these? I know some people described it as a good feeling... but for me it's more like random sharp pains... that's gonna keep me away from these things, especially if that happens on a low dose.

 

Ya it will help, I use to do a couple hits of meth when I was sick, It made me feel awesome...
