I've been told that there are more then one ways to lose your virginity (for ladies). Most, are believable. However, one has me confused cause I just don't see it's possible. I was told that you can lose your virginity through playing sports? Can someone explain to me how that is possible. I just do see or understand how a girl, like myself, can lose her virginity by playing sports. I'm just not seeing it. Help!!!! Untouched
A virgin is someone who has not had sex. Period. A hymen is a thin, fragile thing, so any number of things can break or tear it.
People usually believe that if the hymen is still intact then the girl is a virgin. However that isn't true. I know a girl who's had sex many times and her hymen is still intact... somehow, don't ask me how. But also, puting in a tampon, horseback riding or other things can tear it. The hymen has almost nothing to do with virginity anymore really.
If I had that part of my life to live over again, I would have a doctor get rid of my hymen during an exam. Breaking it the traditional way usually just gives a guy an ego boost that he doesn't need.
Virginity is an old fashion concept, but never included worries about sports or tampons. Like a virgin forest, it merely means, 'in the original shape.' or 'unspoiled.' The only way you can loose your virginity is by letting a partner make love (have sex) with you. Whether or not a flap of skin gets scuffed is beside the point. Actually, in the more common meaning of today, virginity means what a woman thinks of herself. This goes back to Elizabeth I of England, the "Virgin Queen,' whom everyone knew had had lovers. But she considered herself a virgin because she had not given herself to anyone for a lifetime. Quit worrying , young lady. Tell anyone you want that you are a virgin until you are a happy wife and mother.

a little off subjects but it makes me laugh how a guy dispises his virginity whilst some girls don't.
