if today's behavior is any indication, it's going to be very loud, very melodramatic and extremely annoying. three tantrums in one day and she's nearly 7. :toetap05: wow.
I feel for you. I hope she doesn't end up like my daughter. She was a regular in front of the juvie judge.
she's gone plain psycho over her sister wearing a shirt she wanted to wear. earlier it was over picking up toys. loud crying, shouting, whining, etc. it's pretty crazy. she's not usually all whacked out like she is today. i think she needs a nap.
I dont believe in hitting children, But a child needs at least 5 good back hands in their lifetime to come out right. To me, a tantrums over not getting a t-shirt for no good reason, at 7 years old, Is one of em.
i dunno. kai's usuall really calm and sweet. she gets happily rambunctious and fiesty at appropriate times. but this was outta control.
Cindy Lynn gets that way sometimes, but then when she's done she goes and has a long discussion with her toys then she goes back to being all nice and sweet again. Moodswings, crazyness
My daughter (she's turning 6 at the end of May) is very emotional like that. Course, I can admit I am too so she doesn't get it anywhere strange. I just take it with a grain of salt and tell her to chill out. Usually that's all she needs, some quiet alone time to regroup. She's also pretty cocky. She's constantly going around saying how cute she is, how pretty, how everyone at school tells her so too. Seriously, she'll look at herself in the mirror and squeal "oh I'm just so CUTE!" I mean, granted, the girl is a doll baby, of course I may be biased. I already know I'm going to be in for it when she's in her teen years as far as emotional issues go. She's fiesty and super sensitive, just like her mama. But man, that girl is something else. She's got a FANTASTIC sense of humor, she's a total blast to be around. I've been taking her on some girl only day outtings (since the boys are horrible when you take them out to run errands or shop because they think it's uber boring) and we have such a fun time. She's a joy to be around, really.
i think she cycles with the moon already. yesterday she was just a total sweetie. she helped clean up the lunchroom table for all the kids who didn't bother. lol. and she got another dragon ticket for helping a kindergartener find her way to her classroom when she got lost. ups and downs with these kids, man. the nice thing about kids, though, is they don't have very high standards. i mean, hell, they even like me. pretty neat.
mama I wish my kido was little again (sometimes) I just got home from bailing her out of the pokey for a DUI,and she is only 18... I hate feeling so helpless...
bummer, man. that really sucks. if it's any consolation, better at 18 than 25, right? my little sis got into all kinds of trouble when she was younger, but she's in her twenties now and doing great. she grew up. you'd almost expect that out of a teenager, but someone in their twenties and thirties? that would be the real time to mourn.
Ouch, I'm sorry to hear about that lilbear. I hope things get better and this was a one time mistake on her part. Kids do some foolish things sometimes, no matter how good of a mama you may be. {{{Hugs}}}
