Boycott Mexican Pot

Tonight I am starting a campaign to stop the US pot smokers from supporting murderers.

Please spread the word, we are not murderers and should not support them.

Buy American and Canadian, its better anyways.

As a former smoker, I hope you can remember this in an hour

The Mexican Drug Cartel issue is not as simple as boycotting "Mexican Marijuana". Mexican pot is not just the dirt you get in compressed bricks for $60 an ounce. California has been facing a long problem of growers going into National Parks to grow large fields. These guys are taking advantage of having prime growing area and are growing shit that could easily be confused with professionally grown medical marijuana.

The only effective way to stop buying Mexican Marijuana is to stop buying dirt. People living in the southwest would have to find local growers to be certain their marijuana is not contributing to the problem.

The only real solution is to close the border and place troops along the border that are better armed than the cartels. This is a problem even the Mexican government can barely handle and drug wars do not obey international borders.

 

Dan Akroyd did a skit about this on SNL back in the 70s, based on the old International Ladies Garment Worker's Union ads...."Do you realize that every time you buy a bag of Mexican or Colombian pot, you're putting an honest American Marijuana grower out of buisness?...."

 

I don't think pot is a main concern of the Mexican drug cartels. Coke, heroin, pharms, whatever are all a higher profit yield than weed.

If you want to boycot the Bricked Ditch Weed I can get behind that but I like to use that for cooking because it's cheep.

 

Alot of weed in Canada is grown by Vietnamese gangs and the hells angels (although they both do a damn good job at growing it). Wherever you buy weed you are going to be supporting some sort of criminal organization, there are very few "hippy grow ops" these days. Vancouver itself has become one of the world hubs for organized crime.

O yeah, but theres tons of mexican weed in ohio. Its not even good though, the good weed here either comes from canada or hippys around dayton/columbus. I buy from a friend, who has a friend that grows his own, whom is not part of any organized crime.

 

the problem goes even deeper than the fact that it's gangs who are providing 90% of the weed for canada/us. the problem is that gangs need to do it in the first place, because it's illegal.

Again: Marijuana is such a low profit substance that any gang that would pose a threat don't worry about it.

Cannabis has its own culture, typically it is growers that are also sellers. Or buyers being sellers. It doesn't produce enough profit to warrant much gang interest.

Why sell weed, making a couple hundred MAYBE in a night when you can cook coccaine and sell crack making a couple grand?

 

You are misinformed...50% of Mexican drug cartels profits come from weed alone. And as I already mentioned, a large majority of weed grown across Canada is grown by the Hells Angels biker gang and many grow houses are run by Indonesian and Vietnamese gangs. It produces plenty of profit...there is much more demand for weed then there is for crack. How many people do you know that smoke weed vs. the number that smoke crack. Personally I know a grand total of zero people that smoke crack, or would consider smoking it, so weed is going to net higher profits. Not to mention cannabis seeds are easy to get ahold of, and all the equipment necessary can be picked up at home depot.

No doubt they would be involved, but they aren't focusing on it because it doesn't bring in as much cash.

And I wouldn't call the Hell's Angels a very violent gang in comparison to MS13, Bloods/Crips, Latin Kings, OP, etc etc

Fuck boycotting that shit how the hell can you tell where it came from. The answer is LEGALIZE IT. its fucking plain and simple.

 

I highly doubt the Mexican cartels seriously put the time and money INTO cannabis to yield maybe a grand from one plant.

They have moved to much more profitable things. Including human and firearm trafficking, both WAY more profitable than any drug.

Coke and heroin are being sold for higher profits because a) heroin is cheap as fuck from places like afghanistan and b) they have huge access to cocaine.

And I also highly doubt that you would even be touching much of any mexican marijuana in ohio...

sides that, sure they made more profitable things. Idk other peoples views but as mike gravel says legalize all drugs its a national health problem. That way they get fucked with all the other drugs because now they have no profit to gain from any of them. That leaves firearm and human trafficing, but it wont happen as much since they wont half 3/4th of the money they had before since drug sales dont exist.

Less money = LESS POWER FOR THEM.
