barter system works wonderfully by simply not having set arbitrary values why would people work without money? to create abundance, to create value in others lives and to create a functioning society what needs to be done will be done a farmer grows food so the community dont starve autobuilders build cars so the farmer can get the food to the people house builders build houses so theres places for all to live theres no set value to anything and the more you create the less u npersonaly its also true a noj direct barter system works too, the more you give the more you get..if you spend hundresds of hours digging a new sewer system for the community the community will thank you with a nice sized house a car anfdf plenty of food but ofcourse with everyone working to create abundance for all theres no reason anyone should ever go without its the only system that makes any sence
I work at a nursing home in activities. Hang out with old people, play piano for them, so on and so forth. And SE, surely you don't survive off the barter system in the winter. I can see that when you are at gatherings but there's no way you can eat, pay rent, buy toilet paper, pay for monthly internet bills without a regular source of income.
ah...the difference between theoretical communism and the reality never underestimate the laziness of society...especially here in america...90% of the population would expect everything to be handed to them while the other 10% would work themselves to death wondering why this perfect system is failing (dont forget though, 67% of all statistics are made up on the spot!)
well, i still live at home so i dont need to pay for bills, and i dont have a care in the world to buy possessions. i work once a week at this nursing/retirement home.. where i just make them salads, sandwiches and desserts. and then i go from there moving out soon though.. so i have to figure a way of making more income. was thinking pottery, and sell it at this market i attend and make/sell clothing online.. or go on the doll. we shall see
quite a few people saying they make their money by selling handcrafted items... i can't even fathom that im impressed ^_^
im a calibration technician for a company that produces gas monitoring systems, to reduce pollution and whatnot Ive only been there for 7 weeks, and not one negative comment about my dreads, which is how life should be , i keep pinching myself sometimes because i struggle to believe it
Unemployed ex-bookseller, since changing country. Constantly grateful for being supported by my husband and finally managing to see it as "our" money, rather than "his" money that I need to ask permission to use. Language limitations are sort of an excuse for unemployment, though I could get some kind of factory work like some people I know who got jobs before learning a word of Norwegian. I'm not psychologically capable of getting out of bed and going to a job I don't like, so am aiming to contribute to the income from home with my art, and by reducing some of our expenditure by growing what food I can in our tiny garden. Hmm that all seemed boring, sorry
