I was wondering how should one brew one (not too strong!) cup of marijuana tea?

    Help will be appreciated...

If you wish to ingest marijuana you are MUCH better off just cooking it in butter or oil as THC must be absorbed in a fat or alcohol. For tea you would need some pretty fatty milk or a strong liquor, neither of which I can imagine working as well as the butter or oil.

Some people I know use the stems which don't serve much use to make tea. I guess they do it the same was you make tea.

Stick it in a tea bag and put in a cup of hot water.

that wont do shit. you won't get any effect at all.

you'll need to steep the cannabis for an extended time in hot cream or whole milk, and even then it will take a lot of pot as it's really inefficient.

look up a recipe for bhang on google

its not quite the same as tea, but its the closest you can get, for a cannabis based beverage w/out alcohol

I've recently seen stuff on using citric acid to break THC into a liquid that is drinkable with some results

You will need a lot of shake/trimmings or some really dank shit to soak in some lemon juice (high in citric acid). You can add that to a tea or lemonade. You won't get totally stoned, but you might feel a buzz. I haven't tried it yet, but there are positive confirmation on a grasscity thread

I made tea with stems and leaves last summer, not expecting any effect...more to see how it tasted. All I did was fill a cup with chopped stems and leaves, poured hot water over it and let it sit for a few minutes. I then strained out the shake and added a little sugar to the water, which had taken on a greenish-yellow tint. It was actually quite nice with the hint of sugar, if you are looking for an herbal tea to drink and relax I'd recommend it, but don't expect to be getting a buzz using this method.

THC is not water soluble, or at least to any noticeable extent so you would have to use milk or some other fatty medium to extract the THC first.

This is a good place to start. I have been trying out various methods to this and it does work. I found that the best way to do this is to, on a lower heat simmer heavy cream with the ground marijuana. I then will save this and cut in a portion of the weed soaked cream with some whole milk and make tea that way. Bhang is one of the best ways I have found but the heavy cream works well by just adding to regular tea or even coffee. The key is to cook the cream long enough and at a low enough heat before it breaks.

This is not "traditional" tea but it can be done. Just remember that weed does not break down in just water. I have also done a butterd rum hot toddy style drink using some "Green Dragon". Also good but I used a lot of sugar as well. Good Luck!

You would get a bigger buzz by boiling lettuce and drinking the tea from that then just boiling weed in water. This does work by the way. I would compare it to taking a few asprin.
