i didnt see the zit either till i read that then went back and thought..holy shit hes a unicorn..
sorry..ya asked for that by drawing our attention to it..lol
    but the dreads llok fine
kinda a messy version of backcoming instead of the sideshow bob libertyspike type
they should form well but i can already see a danger of congoing if you dont keep ontop of seperating em till they tighten up
some of em underneath and in the back seem poorly defined (no worries there, backcombinfg is not dreading, your statement i got my dreads yesterday is a false one, you backcombed yesterday, yoyr yet to get your dreads, that happens over time..
the back and inderneath will dread naturaly over time you'll just have to keep seperating or ui can get a semi large mass there

congrats on starting your long journey tho..
sit bacvk and relax and enjoy the ride

I think your dreads will look great in no time, your hair looks wavy and thick!

My hair looked similar to yours when I started and right now they are all loopy and bumpy and crazy, I am looking foward to seeing your progress!

Try to go at least a week without washing if you can stand it.
When you do wash concentrate more on the scalp...becareful of scrubbing the dreads much. Palm roll a lil while damp.

Yeah, I've been trying to hold off on the washing, I just soap up my body and try not getting my hair wet. They seem like they won't come out so far but the bottoms have undone a bit, was gonna have my gf do some of the bottoms over and if she can't just listen to soaringeagle and give it time.

I have a lot of loose hairs too. I just let mine be. I have nothing against maintenance, I just never got the hang of it. I think dread balling is good for new fuzz babies.....but I cant tell ya how to do it.

They look good so far! But with all the zit talk, man, that one looks like it hurts like a bitch. A dab of toothpaste on it might help to dry it out and relieve some pressure. That's always worked for me. :)

Ok my gf is gonna put some beads in my hair today, you know to keep them seperated. When I get them on I'll post the picture. And tell me how you think my hairs doing =].

O and the beads may be oddly colorful, because she doesn't have alot of one color lol.
