Im sick of them tearing our streets apart and hurting everyone they see Man someone should find away to stop all of this pointless vandalism, hate and pain :| I was chased by a mob today for no reason at all! Dammit how do I deal with them?!?
yea gangs are a pain. but i'm an anti social bugger, so i pretty much regard everyone that way. however we did have some very drunk lads outside our house the other weekend, puking all in the street and pissing in our next door neighbours garden whilst shouting and fighting, alot. fuckers. and they barely looked like they were out of nappies.
you have too paths one which is easy and one which is hard and dangerous , the easy path would be slightly annoyed and forget about it and keep running from people , when you see people doing things pretend you dont see , this seems the most popular path . the other option is dangerous and hard and takes work learn to fight get really fit get fast and when someone chases you or a group of them fight them and win, ideally position yourself so you have some kind of edge there are lots of things you can do , when I was your age well younger I was a pacifist then I came to the conclusion it didnt work and the best thing I could do was become really good at fighting and when someone bullied me give them the beating of their lives . to that end I became very interested in the martial arts not just technique, but the spiritual aspects, I used to do things like one handed pull ups , press ups on my knuckles to harden them , I would practice with a speed ball to get faster at punching a moving target . I used to punch a heavy punchbag I used to run for miles , I joined various martial arts and boxing clubs , at times Id come home covered with bruises black eyes split lips you get that Ive been punched in the face a lot feeling where your head is sort of swoll up and dizzy ,sometimes you get things like blood in the urine from being punched around the kidneys . if youve ever seen a tom cat thats come back from being out tomming, and he drags himself in covered with cuts most of which are infected maybe hes got one eye swoll up , thats a bit like learning to fight can feel or fighting even when you win anyway after a few years doing that reading the right type of books you will see a change in yourself really you should see the change in a few months . the main thing isnt to play at it your training for a purpose , good luck
Yeah, and after years of "Training" your tendons and ligaments are so fucked up from doing ridiculous exercises and punching bags of rocks, you can hardly clench a utensil to feed yourself. Even if you can still make a fist, the severe bursitis in your shoulders makes it painful to even lift your arms. And you're addicted to cortisone. But that's not as bad as the brain damage you received from all those "training" blows to the head. So finally instead of a trained fighter, at best you prematurely deteriorated your musculosceletal health, at worst you end up a drooling idiot that wouldn't be able to defend himself anyway. BTW my training is in Bushidokan Karate, Judo, Muy Thai, and Aikijutsu. But as an American I prefer my own school of "Shawty Shotty" (The knowledge and art of the short shotgun.) Sorry to rub it in blokes, but you know what I'm getting at here...You guys fucked up letting them take your guns away.... ZW eace:
Aw I was hoping youd hook me up so I could feel more of a person (and be just like the guys in your film trailer!)
well we have here a interesting question on how you deal with violence directed against you or someone else you have grown up in a society with police who use violence in theory to stop violent people , you have armys used to stop people like the nazis non violence didnt stop them. is there a successful non violent country or society , I know Switzerland hasn't fought a war for four hundred years but thats partly because the mass of the people are armed to the teeth much like a more civil less imperialist America. why do some country's have high levels of violence and anti social behavior and some less so
and boys will be boys . I got into the martial arts because I was bullied I tried reason didn't work and you could try telling your teachers that didn't work so I could continue being bullied or I could beat up someone much bigger and stronger than me , thats what I chose to do. in my case this person was something of the school bully he supported the national front lifted weights also did martial arts (badly ) my hero's at the time were people like gandi , it ended up I was always watching my back and trying to avoid him . I went in to the toilets one day and this person was using a urinal turned around and peed on me , anyway I stood there in a sort of shock i think I may have moved away to avoid the pee and he went off laughing , I slunk home and thought most of the night about pacifism and dealing with bullys and as I concluded that it wasnt working that it was just making me miserable and the other people this person attacked it wasnt making a change within this person except allowing him to attack people . so I decided the best thing to do was to pick a fight with this person and hurt him no matter what happened to me and keep doing that until either he stopped bullying or he killed me . I only fought him once I ended up with a chipped tooth they needed about 3 teachers to get me off him ,I think I terrified him because he stopped bullying around me so did his national front friends , I met him by chance maybe 15 years later and he had his family with him but you could see he really hated me and if we had been alone we would have continued the fight we had all those years before. I'm not sure what the answer is to violence its been something Ive pondered most of my life, he may have been bullied as a child who knows I may have joined a circle of violence its a tricky one . at the end what was the result the people who were being bullied had that stop , I felt a lot better but ended up doing all that martial arts stuff , as far as I know he didn't learn any great lesson from the experience he didn't seem a great person who had come to understand his past .
Yes we do live in a society where the police are responsible for dealing with crime and violence, and where giving someone "the beating of their lives" is likely to get you arrested. Telling people to do something that's going to get them arrested and charged is spectacularly poor advice just from a strategic point of view... This is not why Switzerland has not fought in a war for hundreds of years (almost 200, not 400). The Swiss army is so diminutive compared to its neighbours, even when you include all the ex-servicemen who keep their service weapons, that they could not present a credible defensive force were they to be invaded by almost any other country. If this were to happen Switzerland would fall as a matter of course. This is why Switzerland has fought hard to maintain its neutral status through diplomacy in international treaties since the Napoleonic wars, when they were invaded several times by surrounding powers. It's an accident of unusual political and diplomatic manouevering that has kept Switzerland independent and neutral for so long. It certainly has nothing to do with the fact that the Swiss are "armed to the teeth", as if every other country has been terribly scared of those ferocious Swiss and fearful of invading ever since 1815! Quite the reverse in fact.
On another forum I frequent, whenever someone posts a news article about violence in the UK, they always have someone post "if the UK had guns this wouldn't happen". It happens so much it's practically become a joke.
Yep, because they have certainly helped in the states, there's pretty much no violence there at all...
Kind of my point, as well as the point about a dozen people bring up when it's said (and kind of the reason it became a forum joke). Now anything about the UK has someone mention it. Bus prices going up again? If we had guns...
