Ok so after a dream last night I'm going to bleach me dreads!!

What is the best dye? I'm not wanting to shop on the net for it, so that excludes manic panic etc... Just cus I wanna do it asap, and can't be arsed to wait for delivery and sign for a package xD

Is there any decent blonde bleach I can get from tescos or something? I do know there is a hairdressers suppliers shop in town so I could check in there...

I've tried clarol nice 'n' easy, didn't do much :(

I'm thinking about shorwarkcoffthedd xD Cannae spell it but you know what I mean :D The one that does the XXXL LIVE COLOUR stuff :p Yea them... Is the blonde one any good?

Anyone that has bleached before- what did you use?

I used Blondissma and it worked great. Found it at my local grocery store for $12.

Blondissma is a bleach made by L'Oreal and it comes with 2 levels of lightening-I used the lightest level.

Yes hello! I used to use L'Oreal Perfect Blonde bleaching kit for years. Tried the Schwartzkopf equivalent since being here and think it was slightly better. I've chucked the packaging now and can't remember the exact name. Well it's the lightest blond bleaching kit, rather than a blonde "dye" if that makes sense. Just make sure the chick on the front is a proper platinum blonde. Clairol melted a load of my hair off some years ago so they aren't my friends.

i used to use the xxxxxxxxxxll neon see-you-from-space shade of red, woop! as for the blonde... yessm i used the xxl one of them too. i think the one i used had the whitest/most blonde hair on the picture, and thats why i chose it.

Wicked :D I like the sound of the XXL stuff!! I'll make sure it platinum blonde ^^ I'll have a look for the jerome's stuff too :) Yay ^^

Lemon is a natural bleach so when put onto hair, with the help of UV rays (I think, hairdryers don't seem to fasten the process for me) it makes hair go lighter ^^ Well, for brown shades it goes orange :p

sounds like so much fun! I'm so excited to be able to play with the color of my dreads...

you should be able to go to a sallys or any local beauty supply and get bleach powder and a 30 volume developer, if they don't have any kits that already come with both? just make sure you get something that will lighten your hair pigment. If you just get a blonde dye it probably won't do much :-\ good luck!

Can't wait for pictures! Why is it always exciting when someone dyes their hair, or is it just me that gets excited? :)
