I would agree with you 100%, but as of now I don't think there's much to protest.. or at least nothing that's that big of a deal.

We need to protest the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, this in itself is part of the reason that those who stand behind our leaders pulling their strings have such power. We need to protest the outlawing of firearms, Obama has already got a list of one's he's outlawing, we need to protest the potential act he wants to put in place that makes the police part of the federal government, we need to protest these "camp"s they're building. There's far more to protest than most people realize. Things that if halted could put a big monkey wrench in their plans.

Alright, wouldn't a self-sustaining lifestyle(one worth defending), such as HHB is speaking of be the foundation of protest that youre searching for? Both on the survival end of the coin, and the direct boycott of money(fed)/governmental control/violence side of the coin?... Although you will use money and live within the system in the meantime, its the only way to eventually cut your ties with it, or survive if/when this way of being fails. What can a peaceful protest of a gun list do? how would you protest such a thing as a camp? I'm wondering, i really want to know...

Maybe it would be a better thing if we paid attention to people like HHB who give us ideas towards removing ourselves from the society around us and creating a sustainable way of being? Maybe just getting out there and doing it, one day, one step, one plant/plot at a time is the best method... let us know how the protests work out, but im currently tryin to make a buck, and get my gardens going...all in time i suppose

you think they allow peaceful protests during matial law??

seriously,i dont know but what i read others post in forums on the internet but if you believe whats being said the police are being trained for rampant civil unrest in the cities this summer.

law enforcement is spooked. i saw where someone in law enforcement in florida said "i expect jacksonville, miami and orlando to burn this summer"

i dunno,i dont get out to see what the actual vibe in the world is but my gut has told me for quite some time beginning this summer things are going to rapidly spin out of control..

i also know despite what the MSM says the economy CANNOT be saved, not in its original form.

this is why i personally believe at this point anyone who truly cares about change should be making preperations to ride out whats coming and wait until the smoke clears and the dust settles to decide what to do next.

once the violence begins in ernest, and it will, protesting is only going to assure that you wind up detained indefinetly.
seems to me that the smart thing to do is let the criminal element in society have their summer or two of rage, let the worst pass and then decide what the next move should be and that is what i intend to do.

if others want to do otherwise, like i said,ya cant stop stupid.

Now now, gentlemen. Let us keep the insults to a minimum.

The Daughters of liberty was a successful Colonial American group that consisted of women who displayed their patriotism by participating in boycotts of British goods following the passage of the Townsend Acts. Using their feminine skills of the time period, they made homespun cloth and other goods...

and, yeah, an afghan is a flat blanket.

What it sounds like y'all are looking for is a poncho with (hidden) pockets.
