"well that's a horse of a different color!" toss up between QUEST FOR FIRE and BROTHER SUN, SISTER MOON. and more of 'as a teen' than 'as a kid'. ya know, upon further reflection on BSSM, i could very well conclude that this could be the one movie that started me on my journey that eventually brought me here...to these very forums! SO BLAME BROTHER SUN, SISTER MOON!
I remember watching the last part of twin peaks when i was about five, and was so scared that i got into a full blown asthma attack and had to rush me to the doctor
That blew my mind too, but I was 19 I think. Especially the We Don't Need No Education part, which actually grows in importance to me everyday as I dedicate my life more and more to the practice of continually emptying my mind of fixed ideas.
I can't remember the name of it, but it was about a movie where dolls came alive and murdered people, I'm still leary about Dolls until this day.... Heh. That and "Fire in the Sky"
No, it was a little girl who had a doll collection, Barbies or something... it was crazy. i wasn't freaked out by the Child's Play movies... but that doll is kinda creepy it itself.
I loved Child's Play, still do, and it never bothered me. But I watched a Goosebump's movie about a dummy that's alive and kills people or something. All I can remember is it's head twisting all the way around. The this day I am afraid of dummies. (Partially of dolls in general.)
its 1 of only 2 movies where i can quote lines from. my mom was wicked pissed when i watched it with my 2 1/2 year old nephew haha
My dad took me to see Sudden Impact when I was 4. Been a Dirty Harry fan ever since. I wasn't allow to watch Robocop for some reason.
I pretty much grew up watching Clint Eastwood westerns with my grandpa, so not so much a movie, as Clint Eastwood himself had a great impact on my life. (that impact was even greater after I read the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King when I was about 14.) If I was to pick one movie, though, I'd have to say The Outlaw Josey Wales. Let's put it this way: I was a little girl, blond hair, frilly dresses, walking around wanting to be a cowboy/outlaw all the time. Funny sight.
