Medical marijuana will be part of the focus of John Stossel's ABC special that airs tonight. He'll be examining the case of Charles Lynch, the former operator of a medical marijuana dispensary -- operating legally under California state law -- who was raided by federal law enforcement officials and convicted on federal drug charges. A respected member of the community who operated with the support of local officials and the chamber of commerce, Lynch was known to refuse payment from patients who could not afford it. MPP provided research assistance for the show, which airs tonight on ABC at 10 p.m. EST.
damn so here is a question: go to a show or watch this?? i mean i should be able to find it on the internet in the following days yes??
^^^ if not for free later on their site.. lot of sites these days stream their shows after they are aired... dunno if ABC is the case
There's a good chance I'll catch this....with my 70 year old mom, no less. It's wonderful, families learning about pot & government oppression together...you're quite certain that's 10 Eastern? I notice you're in Central.
positive.. it was in my MPP news letter... does anyone else find it oddly amazing how much media coverage marijuana has gotten over the past couple months?
LOL It matters what area you're in for cable. Even if it's digital cable. Only satellite does that..... Sounds interesting though. I'll have to watch it or at least DVR it for watching later.
It's all about Michel Phelps! Did anyone see him on the Today show this morning. He looked such the bad boy taking his meds. Just not the good kind.
I might check this out. I was looking for what channel it was, so i went to 10:00 to make it easier to find it so I could just look at whats on instead of finding ABC specifically(I just got verizon fios recently, so the channels are all different). I happened to find something else that goes from 9 EST to 11 EST. Its called Marijuana Inc: Inside America's Pot Industry. I'm sure a lot of people have heard of it, because it sounds very familiar to me, but it says its from 2009 so maybe its a new one or something? Anyways thats: 9 to 11 PM EST on CNBC. Check their website because I looked there and its show a few more times also.
dude guys i can't stress this enough...let us thing back to the legalizing of alcohol. the prohibition ended in 1932 during one of the worst years of the great depression. (i'm praying this doesn't turn into anything like the great depression) but the worse the economy gets i think the liklihood of legalizing mary jane increases. perhaps not nationally, maybe only in more liberal states such as cali, oregon etc... but idk if its for tax purposes or what...but this has been my hypothesis from the beginning
