I personally found it absolutely breathtaking. The filming and the complete scope of what they covered in the series is amazing.

My personal favorite part is when the baby ducks jump out of the tree and land in a huge pile of leaves. It's effing adorable and how..really.. how do you catch that kind of stuff on film.

    Anyone else like it?

I have it on Blu-ray, and it's absolutely stunning. I haven't even gotten a 1/4 of the way through yet.

its pretty awe inspiring, and it really makes me shudder at how precarious so many amazing animals existence are! the people that filmed this movie have serious skill!

Holy shit Planet Earth was amazing! My jaw barely had time to leave the floor between breathtaking shots. I've actually got a plan to send thank you letters to every photographer I can get the info for, but it might be a while until I get around to it.
One of my favorite sequences was in the oceans episode when the dolphins and the birds had the school of fish sandwiched, but there were way to many out of this world shots to get a clear favorite.
Why is it so hard to find the ones narrated by Sigourney Weaver online! David Attenborough is good, but after hearing him narrate every nature documentary I'd seen in my entire life it was nice to mix it up (I thought she did a better job anyway!).

Weren't the Weaver-narrated ones cut and edited to make room for commercials on the Discovery channel?

I just watched some for the first time the other day and I was blown away. So cool, especially in HD!
