No, I don't think so. The post presidential election season will take up a lot of ink and air time. Beside 41 years is an off year. Maybe 9 years from now, the 50 year mark. Most of the original players are/will be dead. Only Caroline Kennedy (can't remember her married name), the most direct living relation, will probably still be around.

After 2013, I don't think there will be any rememberance. He did start the Peace Corp, the first of the Space Flights, The Cuban Missile Crisis, other than that, I can't think of other accomplishments.

Nasa was intiated by the Eisenhower Administration. The 60's, as we prefer to remember it (The Beatles - Music, drugs - pot - LSD, Summer of Love - 1967), The War on Poverty, Race Riots, Vietnam was during the Johnson years.
