    Been listening to them for 20 + yrs. My older sister had a number of their records. They started out in 1968 under the name Organisation. Probably the most influential band on the planet. Anyone using electronics in music today owes them a tip of the hat. Numbers and Computer World two of my faves!

    Well, actually, these are not the real lyrics to the song. The words are sung in German.

    It says : Wir fahr'n fahr'n fahr'n auf der Autobahn (We drive on the motorway)

    It sounds a lot like what you wrote. It was what I heard too the first few times I listened to it.:)

    I have been listening to Kraftwerk since they came out. My favorite album is still Electric Cafe. The addition of sampling at that point solidified their unique sound even more. It has always been robotic music with a human feel. Meat Beat Manifesto and Depeche Mode site them as majoe influences. BTW, saw them in Los Angeles in 1980 in Santa Monica.
