The definition of a stoner

I would consider someone who smokes daily a "pothead" or one who is deeply absorbed in smoking. A stoner is more someone who adheres to the culture of pot smoking. Obviously there is no fixed definition, so what do you think?

 

I think they all mean the samething... just "pothead" sounds better than "weedhead" or "stonerhead" ahaha.

 

When I think pothead I think someone who is high 24-7 red eyes all the time. And stoner is someone who smokes every now and then not every day

 

I think that definitations change from one place to another and over time as well. What once ment one thing now means another. I think that the best way to define ones self is as one wishes to be defined.

Ha, look at that, and I am not even stoned. I will be later though.

 

i don't really like to label people as "dude's a total stoner" but i guess i would say a stoner would be someone who enjoys getting blazed, but looks for other ways to enjoy a night.

 

I'd say a pothead is completely obsessed with pot to the point of not being comfortable without it.

example: crack head, pot head

not the same thing obviously, but like i dont know, hopefully you know what im sayin

a stoner is someone who just lives it, loves it, and just is more deeprooted into th culture and all.

 

I agree, I generally hear the title "Pothead" thrown around at my school by straightedge kids who look down upon people that smoke often. When I hear the term "Stoner" I think of it as a much more smoker-friendly way of saying "That guy likes his greens, a lot"

I have always taken "pothead" as an insult, though I am one; it just doesn't sound friendly lol.
