I first got glandular fever in aug of 07, had CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) ever since. That is what brought on my depression, and recently I had a really bad panic attack. Google cfs and go on the NHS website and go to symptoms, I have every single symptom on there ^^ Fun fun fun...

I decided to give anti depressants/anti anxiety meds a go, I've been on them for about a month now, and can definately feel the difference between feeling depressed and being on meds: on meds I feel theres holes where my depression used to be, feels so weird. Anyone else had that with meds? I'm on 10mg of citalopram xD

With my CFS its getting so fustrating, yesterday I had a really good day at uni, walked back home and completely crashed, had no energy at all, could barely walk or make dinner. Today I couldn't get out of bed, my legs and head were so heavy AND I had a headache to top it off :( With CFS its not only the physical side that is stupidly fustrating, its the mental too. Theres the depression, and also I feel confused, I find it hard to find words in my head, I find it really hard concentrating or getting myself to do work.

It really sucks, cus I'm gonna have this for years :( My dad doesn't understand, my mum is starting to but only after I tell her all the facts and how its just not that easy to 'get up and do it'. The only person I know who has cfs is a self indulged talk-o-maniac who when I want to moan she exagerates her condition so its 10x worse than mine and makes me feel so small :(

Its so hard with all these things going on ontop of uni and stuff, and not having anyone to talk to properly who actually understands :(

*Sigh* Sorreh that was a long post 0.o Meh xD I needed to vent :p

Does anyone know of anyone or anyone themselves got CFS?

Well, if we're all confessing our disorders...I have diagnosed myself with Asperger's Syndrome and I'm currently in the process of getting an official diagnoses.

Interesting, bcmama. One of my good friends son has Asperger's. We live in BC, I assume you might? If you ever want info from their experience (esp doctors and programs in the province) or some linkys or anything, feel free to PM me.

As for the topic related posts.....I'm annoyed that some of you would make fun of Rainbow gatherings just because someone you don't agree with started their dreads there....... I know people can be defensive when their ways are challenged, but really....
