Native American beliefs?

What beliefs do the majority of the native american society hold? What category of religion would it fall into? Animism?

 

Actually, most native Americans are Christian, because we made a mess of their world centuries ago.

i follow native american ways , in the old traditons , and it is a mix of polyth, monothy, animisum , metaphysical , i say the mono beucase of the christian mess, but also the bleive in WAKAN TATANKA- in lakota it means great mystery , which could be interpated many ways . the poly is the beilve in grandfather stone , grandmother sky etc , anim- well speaks for it self , and meta well how the veiws are of sacred things and stones and what not medince bags and herbs , every thing has life and can effect the said person . if u want to ask more u can leave me a message or what ever just some thoughts to thing on
