I wasn't a-raggin'. Well if it's any help, a book coming from Brazil will take about 16 days. I imagine India might take a bit longer. I'm just trying to be helpful... :cheers2:
I'm thinking it might have been held because 1. it's an international edition, not an american edition, so, it cost a quarter of what it would have if I'd bought the u.s. version 2. it was put on a carrier I've never heard of 3. they're trying to achieve 100% package inspection now under obama for imported products.
it was a stated goal by the bush administration and they intentionally put the deadline in the next administration to try to give them troubles. so, even though they know they won't be able to do it. they still are going through the motions if it's anything like the places I have worked.
Haha.. fair enough, I guess. And I suppose since most of online companies are based in the US anyways they wouldn't have a volume of packages as high relative to population as most other western countries. That's such a slick maneuver, though. That makes me almost like Dubya a little.
it was probably recommended by his homeland security secretary, or one of his other cocksucking sycophants.
I bought a book from England, sent to US west coast, went through customs in about a day or two. Total time of shipping was about a week. I would say that much less then 10% of items are even inspected by customs.
what's the name of the courier company ? Find their website Call their office and bug them... If it's air mail you should get it within 10-12 days If its coming by sea -- then maybe 2 months.(but unlikely )
