So coconut oil rules.. I think I posted the good part of it before but here's what happened when I stopped taking it... I mainly wanted to see what would happen if I quit taking it. I went back to exactly where I was in the beginning. Two months ago, I was alive and doing yoga, the house was always clean, I was excited about life and I was having fun. Now I don't know where my life has gone. I started sleeping from 12:00 AM to 9:30 PM. There is no mistype there, that is really 9:30 PM. I can sleep up to twenty hours if I want to. My skin is breaking out like hell, my legs are dry, my lips feel so dry and cracked and painful, to the point they are BLEEDING. I cry every day a few times, for reasons I can't even understand. I feel alone. My arms and legs have rashes all over them, and I'm starting to feel like I look like smeagal. .. but you know, hot. I haven't done dishes in about a week or two and I really don't care. My eyes feel so baggy and worn out... and dry and painful. It hurts for me to stand more than one minute, and it seems like a pain in the ass for me to have to walk into the other room. We have the greatest mattress in the world but my entire muscles are constantly sore, and I can tell I lost most of my muscles. And I'm CONSTIPATED. AGAIN. DAMNIT. So I'm going to get back on it.
while coconut oil is very good for you most of the symptoms you have posted lean more towards possible depression, more than a adverse reaction from stopping use of coconut oil.
Haha... yeah if taking coconut oil kept the house clean and made people happier, it'd be quite more popular. Sounds like you need a doc.
I absolutely love coconut oil but I don’t think it cures problems like that. I think you need to get out in the sun and fresh air, find some hobbies ect. Get a friend to give you a few massages with the coconut oil. Throw the dishes in the garbage and get some paper plates. Paper plates rock!
Actually people, the OP may be experiencing candida overgrowth and theres something in coco oil called caprylic acid which helps kill off the nasties. Just a possibility. I wouldnt totally shrug off the idea that its the oil thats helping you. If you feel a difference then you feel a difference. Its used for a few things in enlightened medicine. Furthermore, who cares. When you take it you feel good, so keep taking and keep feelin good!
I don't think not taking coconut oil was responsibly for all that which you experienced...but it is insanely healthy for you.
Coconut oil is a popoular oil used for Ayurvedic medicine practiced called oil pulling. Look up a little about it. You would be surprised at the cures that nature gives us.
