about hydrocodone refills? I got 30, then a refill one week later for another 30, now its been another week but i dont want to call in for another refill if its getting weird. How many hydrocodone are legally allowed per month? thanks
What!!!! How many a day are you aloud to take, thats what it goes by. you can take 10,000 a month if its prescribed to you
These drugs are available only by prescription, though control of wholesale distribution is somewhat less stringent than Schedule II drugs. Prescriptions for Schedule III drugs may be refilled up to five times within a six month period. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Controlled_Substances_Act Edit: And as for the original question, I am currently prescribed 42 hydrocodone a week, so I doubt it will seem weird.
I was only prescribed 30 7.5/325 hydrocodones, no refills. Then I called a week later and requested a refill and the dr. gave me one. Now its been one more week and im about to request another 30 but i didnt want to if its weird. The dr. sent me to a pain management specialist a couple of days ago who at no point even mentioned medication only injections and prescription lydocaine patches for my back (i have whats called a permanent stress fracture). I told him I wanted to continue physical therapy but that i could only do it if i doubled my dose (he never asked what i was on although i wrote it in the paperwork so i suppose he knew) and he just said that my back is stable and if i can make it through physical therapy then i should). I told my dr. (who prescribed meds) this, actually i only spoke to her assistant, but i said that the pm spclst said i can go back to physical therapy so hopefully the refills will keep coming. I had kind of thought that the pain management specialist was going to put me on something better than injections and lydocane patches. I hope the dr. giving me rx's doesnt say that i should just work with what the pm guy recommended.
