I used to weigh 220...and was very out of shape from eating loads of junkfood from working at mcdonalds no joke. so ever since i seen how my body shaped out ive allways said i wanna be in a movie like path finder or tristain and isold troy etc.
Your style should be just that- yours. If you want long hair you won't get there via trims- just grow it out. It shouldn't matter whether anyone thinks a look suits you if you are happy with it... the self confidence will trump any effect hair or clothing style has- not to mention physical shape.
you look great. i know it's kind of difficult to really understand those words when you were heavy at some point in your life, but don't end up losing too much. you're fit, you're toned, and you deserve a pat on the back for getting there in a healthy way.
I only crazy dieted for the first couple months just loose the weight i wonted. I am a stoner I eat redicusly crazy when im high. Its just what you eat. Imagine your body built by what you eat. My body is composed of milk, water, chicken, fruits, vegtables, breads, nuts, grains but verylittle sat. fat or sugar and so forth. so instead of eating potato chips when your high grill a chicken breast. I can honestly say each day that i wake up i can see my body tighting up cause i still have some extra body fat in unwanted places.
wow you lost all that weight? i would have never guessed! you look great! and by the way, tan is over rated. pale is beautiful! (and NO, i don't like vampires. I just happen to be naturally pale...hehe!)
Since then my abs have gotten more defined. Im really trying to loose all my body fat then id just have lean muscle. I need to add cardio and in about amonth id probley loose this last little bit. its crazy like when i flex i have these hard plated abs but if im not flexing then you barely see them. thats where diet comes into play its hard to have good lean visiable abs with fat covering them. belive me i dont have much fat either. its just taking a while to naturally restore my self from the stretchness. I cut all my hair off too, the dream of growing long hair kinda got old. I need some new pictures. I liked my hair but it just started to bug me hanging in my face all the time. If you cant belive i lost all the weight imagine this. I was chunky when i was 15, got a job at mcdonalds at 16. once i started I ate all the sweets i could all the milkshakes all the soda. I gained 70 ibs in probley mostly nothing but fat. Once i cut all those calories out and ate good food it blasted away. I kinda wonder if i even needed to work out to get these results. It might have just took longer. the initial proccess of losing the 70 ibs was done in 5mos! i sweare though it wasnt easy. sweets is the devil tell your self that if you dont like the devil youll see a healthy change
This I absolutely believe... so much that is marketed as "food" is effectively addictive poison- particularly the crap that is served as fast food. Additionally, sugar is one of the worst things people do to themselves... and I have a sweet tooth! Your discipline wins my respect.
I sometimes get sweet tooths but I try to ignore them. Usually when I do eat sweets its like I have a nicotine patch! I get horriable feelings in my stomach because "bet you cant just eat one" attacks me hard. Not only does my stomach start hurting my teeth actually start to hurt.? I dont know why this. I guess my body really doesnt appreciate me feeding it bad fuel. Ive said before somewhere on this forum or in the world. You are what you eat. I eat alot through out the day, so much that im full. Its what you eat. Foods high and protein, good carbs, vitamins and minerals; your set for life. When you build your body on meat and nutrients it needs it pays off. Then you can allow deserts. My key is this when eating a sweet, eat enough that you get the good taste you deserve than call it a meal. Just cause it taste good doesnt mean eat the whole thing. Eventually you gain a liking for fowards that are good for you. I eat so many things now that I wouldnt have touched while fast food had its hold on me. Fast food has a flavor chemical I think called ghb that makes you obeist or something. I dont know the whole rap on it, but you could read about it.
Your observation of the effects that sweets have are similar to my experiences... and yes, your body will tell you very important things if you know how to listen. You seem to have a very good grasp of diet... my own approach can be summed up as "read labels; do research". I have a varied diet with a good mix of fruits, vegetables, and protein sources.... in my case I do incorporate meat into the mix. Lean toward organic food items- and will take in ingredients lists... the easy to read "nutrition facts" label doesn't tell half the story and will often make something appear to be better than it actually is. I'm VERY wary of colors, preservatives, and chemical sugars, fats, and other flavors added for the purpose of increasing profitability- whether to make a substance look better, taste better, or last longer on the shelf. I am beyond convinced that these very ingredients have a big role in the vast array of health issues that tend to hit people before they're out of their 40's and require pharmaceutical maintenance- often for the rest of ones life... which is too often abbreviated by those conditions. I guess the crux of this is how to take care of your inside so that your outside will take care of itself. You're young and resilient... youth is quite forgiving... metabolism will tend to slow as you go through and past your 20's. Maintain a decent lean body mass (muscle) and that slowing can be minimized. I'm walking proof of that. You should discuss this in the fitness group.... it's a good way of re-igniting the conversation.
You look handsome and tight/lean. Broad shoulders. I had to convert- you used to be 99kg then, what is your height and weight now? What did you do to loose the wieght, diet/exercise?? : ) To me it doesnt look like you need to loose anymore weight. If you want to appear as muscular as the guy in the b & w pic then you should get into bodybuilding persistantly and eating 6 nutritious small meals a day ( breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack ) mainly up fresh carbs, veges and good avail sources of protien ( like taking a protien drink). Working out would mean having a plan each week to work on particular body parts like Monday - triceps and biceps, Tuesday break, Wednsday abs and back, Thurs break Friday legs and butt etc.. In bodybuilding, its important to get sufficient rest because that makes your muscles recover and grow. I dont know if you use wieghts , you prob do, but the guy in that b & w pic would prob do something like the above. Theres a great supersite on the net called 'bodybuilding.com' that has loads of info and motivation etc. Incidently, just wanted to add - if you feel really unease constantly over your appearance, there is actually a disorder called 'Body Dysmorphia' ( i know cause i have it) that may be of some insite. Btw, Lord of the rings look is hell wicked!
I really was aiming for the long hair(lotr look), but having short hair and then growin it out, i eventually said cant do it. I got tired of having hair in my face all the time. Constantly parting it, this and that. I need to post some new pictures, im getting more lean. I dont really work out, manily just push ups and ab exercises. I wont to get back into burpees. Im kinda torn between whether or not i wont to join the service, so i dont know whether to get back into weights why I wait or what. Because I dont want to go into basic all ripped and stuff, they might try to over test me : (...and i dont run worth a fuck, just because i dont like too. Though i have ran a mile in 7 minutes. Alott of times I forget that I look as good as I do(by that i mean healthy and in shape) because i was large for so long. I look in the mirror and since then my abs have gotten more leaner but I allways worry that im loosing them or something. Kinda self concious, i guess. I just never imagined was gonna have the body i got now..
