Trying to create an armed militia

I think that armed militia are the best and last defense against a tyrannically government or oppressive enemy from abroad.

I want to find educated men and women who are rational and competent, I want ex-military to train us and I want lawyers on hand that can work miracles.

·You supply your Social Security #

·You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of

·Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale
must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically
lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.

·There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a
child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any
child under 18.

They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing
your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is
punishable for up to 5 yrs. in prison.

To my belief, what you're asking as in to create such a thing as an ARMED and TRAINED group of soldiers to PROTECT certain rights or an oppressive enemy is a bit illegal. If I'm correct every state has its own militia, but most times you need to be invited into those.

Joining a militia might be a tad annoying. You might have to deal with a lot of rednecks and such.

I'd just say arm your own house. Every responsible homeowner should have a gun. You gotta protect yourself.

I appreciate your comments, but one day if shit hits the fan, say the government collapses and people are starving and the banks bottom out, all the peace and love in the world wont stop my neighbors from trying to rob me of my supplies if they need it bad enough. Our military will be leaderless and in the same life or death struggle as everyone else, so will the police. However I am sure that (probably more so the police) these powerful groups wont want to give up the power given to them by the federal authorities that has presumably collapsed. Will these X police, and military try to coerce the mostly unarmed and untrained people to bend to there will? So where does that leave us? Why not raise an army so to speak of your own people so you can network, work together and protect each other? Having weapons is one thing, but knowing how to use them tactically and with the support of a group or "cell" or whatever a group of armed trained guys is called seems key.

Well, the problem with this whole idea is: It's a waste of time, energy, and money. You will not be able to acquire the necessary weapons and equipment that could ever come close to dealing with an M1A2 Abrams tank (and even if you disabled one, what about the entire United States military?), or an F22 stealth fighter. You would die, as would your misguided followers.

The United States government will be around a long, long time. China is not going to blow it up, it's not going to disappear under the weight of economic instability, their will not be any successful revolutions, and their will not be a one world government that strips all sovereignty away.

also I fear the military less in a situation of total anarchy because they enlisted and took an oath to protect the US (that includes citizens)

I fear the police more because they spent there lives trying to find ways to get people to do what they want with force and destroy lives on a moral whim. I bet it would be the police who would pose an immediate threat.

also I understand what you are saying about the tanks and whatnot, your right, however America was founded by a bunch of militia farmers fighting the greatest power on earth and won. So it can happen.

the argument that we are outgunned and therefore dont stand a chance is completely bogus and has been proven false in Iraq and Afghanistan..

the ingenuity of the american people is astounding. go on youtube and look at the flamethrowers,pumpkin cannons,sawdust bombs, etc.etc. that people make now,then use a little imagination as to how those could be tweaked to be more than deadly.

then factor in the knowledge of IED's that thousands of soldiers have brought back from the middle east and i would say you have the makings of one hell of a armed resistance..

also,do a little research and you will find our military is not happy at all with this administration. few will follow orders when it comes to putting down insurrection here in america.

our population is 10 times the population of any country we have fought in over the last century and we have able bodied veterans from 3 wars who havent forgotten the lessons learned..

I'd have to disagree with your comparison; the biggest difference between the Revolutionaries and the British army was supplies and numbers, not technology. In the case you are talking about, everything from equipment to technology to training there will be an insurmountable disparity.

The only way, as far I as can see, a revolution to happen in the United States is for certain military units to break off and cease taking orders.

 

according to the united states military's own reports you need 1 soldier for every 10 people to effectively control a population.. any idea where they are going to come up with a army of 30 million??
