^Well that is retarded, why the fuck would they put seats where they cannot even be seen?! I don't understand the world today.
That's what they did last tour. I kid you not. What was the name of that venue on Long Island? Tommy Nosefinger Amphitheatre, or something?
Ya know I've seen the dead a couple of hundred times and I can only once or twice remember even trying to find my seat. It was all about dancing in the hallways and isles.
i sure like The Dead. as a younger youngster i did a personal study of collective consciousness. The Deadheads were an excellent collective to study. with the music as a bonding agent and the use of hallucinogens enhancing the shared energy and visions interesting spontaneous psy phenom never failed to occurr during Dead shows and even out in the parking lot scene. very cool. i often wonder whether the same or similar still occurs now with Gerry having left planet. was his personality lead as an archetypal father figure essential for such a high level of collective cohesion?
the good ol' Greatful Dead- man, i miss Jerry... got great tix for the Earth Day Dead show in Wilkes-Barre, anybody else going? get up wit me
The Dead are in my top five bands and play a juggling act around there. I think the highest they got on my charts was #2. But that's only because the Beatles hold an honorary position in 1st place... -.- And on the drug question. I have to agree that Lucy is still my favorite darling.
i dont understand how you could not like the dead...just went to a further show this past friday and they still sound great and lucy would still be the drug of choice at the shows today
See psychedelics are psychedelics, to some degree at any rate. Awesome music is awesome music. So mix them, and it still has roughly the same effect. I'm listening to them right now and I'm 18. Not a rabid deadhead or anything, but I do enjoy them.
really? you're pretty out of touch brother. and if you are referring to the 60's-70's movement as ineffective you are sadly mistaken.
I'm not sure how the dead give guidance at all. Their songs are often about fucking up... Like it or not, it's music that is likely to sound good to people on drugs and/or with some taste in music. Stop now.
grateful dead is awesome! but if you go to a concert you will probably see people in their 20-30s or 50-60s i don't think too many 30-40 year olds would show up though and you might see a few 15-20 year olds too, but the 20-30 and 50-60 groups will probably be the biggest
