What do you do if...

Ok, so what do you people normally do, if you VERY VERY stoned and someone like your mom calls and says you have to pick up your little brother from school, and you really don't want your mom knowing your high (or any other similar situation). I was in that situation yesterday. I ended up picking him up, but it was scary as fuck. And the whole ride back it was either talk to him and incriminate myself, or not say anything and things feel awkward. I ended up talking to him, and I can't believe he didn't notice I was high.

 

People generally won't know if your high unless you smell, you tell them or you act like an idiot.

 

Its like those commercials where people talk about how they "forgot to get their little brother because they were high" and the kids like standing in the rain after soccer practice or something. Its not like that really...but its what it made me think of.

 

Well yeah, but my point was I was VERY high. Theres a point where its impossible to not sound retarded, unless you smoke constantly.

i act normal, i don't freek out and i never get caught... i've had conversations with my mom on shrooms, lsd, alcohol and i do pretty fine you just gatta mellow out!

 

I would have gone to pick him up with no problem man. No offense or anything, but by the time I was 19 I was able to do anything high. I guess It's coz i started smoking pretty young though.

 

Or you have a high tolerance. I only smoke like twice a week, unless summer. And when I take a fuck load of bong hits, I can get really messed up. I mean, when it gets to the point when you cant remember what you just said, its hard to hide it, unless your really lucky. That specific time I smoked two bowls of dank, and I was messed up. Durring summer, when I smoke every day, if i smoke one bowl, will barely feel buzzed, and after two bowls I'll feel kind of high.

ive talked to my mom tripping balls. yeah she noticed i was on something (shes a doctor) but didnt know what, and didnt even think anything of it just because i showed her that i wasnt afraid to hide anything from her.

 

cannabis is the stealthiest drug, well not the smell, but the effects, they can't read your mind or experiance how your body feels. i can always control myself tho.

 

I would never pick my brother up high. If you want to put your own life in danger that's fine, but you put your brother in danger and anybody else that was on the road. I know a whole bunch of people love to say how they drive better when their high. But I don't buy it. I've seen many people who claim the same thing and they drive like morons. They just can't tell. I would've found some excuse not to do it. I'm sorry if this offends people, but I think it's just dangerous. I wish more parents would allow their kids to say, "sorry Mom/Dad, I can't drive right now, I'm stoned", without getting in trouble. I will say that weed in not a drug until I'm blue in the face. But it does alter your reaction time and reasoning skills. It's just dangerous.

 

that happened to me once. i just got done smoking and my dad asked me to pick him and my nana up at my bother's concert because apparently it went too long or something and they didn't want to be there anymore.

says who? health class? the reason people say they drive better when they're high is because they DO! a lot of people do anyway. Unless you're new at smoking there should be no problem being high and driving.

And as for the stealth comment, you can't hide red eyes... Sometimes eye drops don't work? It's bad to use them alot too

It does affect your reaction time and your awareness is altered.

I am probably one of the best drivers of all my friends, but when I'm stoned, I'll be grinding my clutch and taking too sharp of turns. It's not super dangerous though.

 

I can drive just as well high as I do in a "sober" state ( I don't consider weed impairing, which is why sober is quoted). I drive better than most of the people on the road in either state of mind.
