as everyone knows, ecstasy is still considered a newer drug compared to most. There is a lot research out there about how mdma effects the brain but i cant seem to find much information about the short and long term effects it has on the body. i cant seem to find anything that goes into detail about what it does to the organs (kindney, liver, stomach, small intestine etc) i have heard people say it almost feels like there insides are constricting. this is due to a couple years of rolling at least once a week. another thing related to this is heartburn and acid reflux. why does e cause this? I am new to this site and am interested in anatomy. if anybody can help that would be greatt thanxXx also please feel free to post any knowledge you have on the anatomy and science of mdma and short and long term effects**
all i know is that most of the "horror results" they found in the late 80s were based off of Methamphetamine, not MDMA
The "insides constricting" is because MDMA, like most drugs, promote muscle contraction. This is why it's difficult to urinate on molly, difficult to get an erection and orgasm as well; those all require muscles to relax. Molly does not really affect any major organ other than the brain, EXCEPT when done while overheating. MDMA alone is almost non-toxic, but MDMA in conjunction with SEVERE overheating (enough that you're risking death by heat stroke anyways) has been shown to be neurotoxic, hepatoxic, and some other stuff. http://www.thedea.org/otherissues.html
the occasional MDMA is without a doubt deeply beneficial to the mind, body, and soul. ^windcriesmary that picture is so haawwwttt. you are quite the goddess.
