I've been watching this on TNT all weekend.

Ents = Americans - Try to ignore the rise of the evil powers in the beginning. It wasn't their war. Lasts until there is a devastating attack on their home forcing them to join the fight.

Gondor = Britian - Right next to the great power(Mordor). Overwhelmed/Outnumbered and suffer early losses. Depend on aid from other powers to save their land.

Rohan = Russia - Corrupt and inept leadership in the beginning. A pseudo ally of Mordor in the beginning. Attacked and lossing lots of their forces. The Battle for Helms Deep is the battle for Moscow. They come back and hammer the enemy, saving Gondor.

Mordor = Germany - Evil leader. Rising from previous defeat(WWI). Trying to take over the world.

Sarumon = Japan - Allied with Germany. Evil?

    Unite and Discuss.
